Had a similar issue with my Indesit washer and I had to replace the original 25W drain pump with a stronger 45W. The washing machine originally came with a 25W pump, however from what I've noticed the same error appeared when the voltage from the mains dropped under 210V, or there were successive brown outs. I live in rural Eastern Europe and the power grid where I live is quite stressed, so I believe that when the voltage dropped too low, that 25W pump didn't have enough strength pump out the water. In my setup, the drain hose is raised above the level of the pump. First I replaced the original pump with a similar 25W pump, but the problem persisted, so I ultimately bought a stronger 45W pump and had little to no issues. With the stronger pump, the only time when that error appeared is after successive brown outs (by successive brown outs I mean multiple and consecutive 1 second blackouts) . I believe the computer got confused and gave out the error. Other than that I've never had any problems with the machine draining the water. Indesit could've included a stronger pump from the factory, but everything nowadays needs to be high efficiency with low power draw. These components will work fine within the factory specified parameters, but if anything deviates from that, things will stop performing properly. If I remember correctly the drain pump has an operating voltage of 220V - 240V, so anything below that will affect its performance. One other problem I've noticed is a knocking when the machine is in spin mode. The machine is leveled, I've checked the concrete counter weights and they're all tightly fastened to the drum, and the bearings and the spider are all fine (the metal drum is not loose when tugging it from all corners or from the corners where the spider is connected, and there is no grinding noise coming from the bearings). The plastic pulley is also fine, it's not loose, there are no visible cracks and there is no water leaking around it from the bearings and seals. The last thing that might be causing it is the door gasket flexing around from the high vibration of the drum when it's under high spin. I've opened the machine and there are no loose components to cause this noise. I might be wrong, but if you have any idea please let me know.

These Indesit are a pain in the ass! Fault 1 - Could be Motor Triac -The Module needing to be totally replaced Fault 2 - Could be the motor itself being jammed - or the motor Tacco being a problem . Fault 3 - Could be the NTC - motor temperture sensor being toast (were the element is) check the connections replace if needed Fault 4 - Could be the pressure switch being broken. Fault 5 - Could be a heater relay being damage and needing replacing - check the element if element fine, new module is needed. Check all connections Fault 6 - Check drain pump connections and wiring Fault 7 - Check dryer for clogged or problem with the fan motor. Fault 8 - Check dryer for connection problems Fault 9 - Check on main board heater relay problem (replace if needed)

The wash indicator LEDs on the right indicate what the fault is on these machines, in this case F02 is displayed which is an issue with the motor, usually motor tacho but not always. Dryer fan runs as a fail-safe feature when a fault occurs.

Two things come to my mind. One is failing electrolytic capacitors on the main board, Electrolytic capacitors can cause random microcontroller crashes and all sorts of weird behavior, And they can be intermittent too. You can try heating the main board with a hair dryer when it decodes to not work and if it comes back to life after that then it is likely to be the capacitors. The other thing i would do is check the sensors on the dryer, Maybe it is running the fan and throwing up the error because it thinks the element for the dryer is hot. I personally suspect electrolytic capacitors on the board because they are notorious for failing and causing intermittent behavior.

Got the same washer dryer load of bloddy rubbish pump blocked up on mine and stop draining the water and all the lights was flashing on the front panel ok since done the pump!!!!

my grandma had this washer model and the pcb was broken and the motor and we didn't know what to do so we took it to the scrap yard

@@bootsowen on newer machines the pumps don't stay on all the time when they are on spin they only come on when they have water to drain it should when it spins tho

Pressure Switch, probably the hose to it is partly clogged, it is loosing track of how much water is in it.

my iwc indesit had a similar fault as this but none of the wash icons would show only the top lights would flash, it would flash randomly whenever it wanted to no matter at what stage it was at. i did fit a new board to it but turns out it had even more issues as the drum had a crack causing it to leak on the motor which resulted it not being able to control the speed very well so just ended up feeding it indesit moons motor. to fix this you could have swapped the wires and facia panels if that was something you really wanted to do just to get it to go

good old indeshiT, the old 80s early 90s indesits were ok, if its not brushes, element , or thermal fuse inside motor, its the pcb, dont bother if its the pcb, but id take the brushes out & check them 1st

I happen to have a similar case at home. I totally gave up on getting a new spider for the Indesit WIXXL 146. At the same time I had the WIL125 which I built, and had no controller for it. So, I put the controller of the WIXXL146 into the WIL125, For some reason, the drum turns much faster during washing/rinsing. Other than this it worked fine... but after 4 washes, it began to trip the MCB randomly! Most likely, it is caused due to the excessive banging of the tub against the body, possibly hitting the wires? I will try to make a video of it soon.

I used to have a hotpoint Aquarius washer dryer 8kg wash 6dry. 1550rpm graphite. And for some odd reason I would come home sometimes all the lights flashing and all soaking wet especially on pre set drying programs it would do it more but not on the timed ones 🤷🏻‍♂️ and most of the time on final spin it would take 45 minutes to balance a load and spin it if it felt like it ?? But would spin fine during rinsing 🙄 was never blocked nothing burnt on the board sump pump filters all clean trap at the back for waste nothing… it was mystery 🤷🏻‍♂️ gave it away it still going but still plays up occasionally but she doesn’t use the dryer on it. Mind I had a cheep indesit iwc6145 for years never let me down till the end 6 years.. drum spider literally snapped off lol. Guess it’s luck can’t believe they still look the same as 10 years ago lol 😂

Ugh! I find Indesit machines horrible nowadays. They just feel full of plastic and they could easily break at the slightest touch. I would never have one personally.

These indesits when you start them will fill through the pre wash then sit and do nothing for couple mins then fill through main wash and start not sure why they do this

indesit washing machines are problematic. I came to this video for the non-ending wash cycle issue on my Indesit washing machine. I have another Samsung inverter washing machine which has been working for 6+ years now. No complaints or issues.
