India has received a lot of negative publicity on social media these days from both travel vloggers and the press at large. Cheap Charlie lands in Amritsar, Punjab province making travel vlogs and finds the people quite nice and hospitable, charging fair prices. Is India really full of scammers or are the travelers just need to get a bit more off the beaten path not running straight into tourist traps?
