The reason why Parker is using heavy lifts is due to High requirements of delta v. Cause its really difficult to reduce perihelion. On the other hand aditya doesn't need to reduce its perihelion that much. That is a big reason for cost difference and also heat tolerance ability is another reason for cost.

Both missions are different. You guys get so excited and compare these missions with Nasa and talk nonsense. Nasa’s tech is beyond comparison and they spend too much money on satellites for “quality” and Nasa is very successful just go and research about their achievements. Isro doing well but they are way behind then Nasa and Jaxa. When it comes to Parker Solar Probe Mission: it has already touched the surface of sun. And Aditya L1 is just 1.50 millions km away from earth while sun is 50 million km away from earth. So L1 is just near the earth. Its purpose is small thats why its budget is less.

That is a bad comparison. Because Parker is going to the corona and observing why it is hotter than the sun's surface. It's trying to understand the phenomena and get new insights. Aditya L1 is good but it's not capable of any of it, atleast not from the L1 point. It needs to be a lot closer.

Parker Probe's Distance from the Earth - 143.11 million kilometres Aditya L1's distance from the Earth - 15 million kilometres Parker Probe's distance from the Sun's surface - 7.8 million kilometres (currently, very near to the Coronal layer of the Sun) Aditya L1's distance from the Sun's surface - 135.91 million kilometres. Now you see, why it is not OK to compare the budgets of these two programs!
