yes, ROG phone, iqoo etc would be the ideal showcase for the chip, but availability in india is usually limited & delayed. Realme, 1+, Mi will usually be the 1st to launch devices, they don't really care for software optimization like Samsung & Apple.

For average consumer this test don't matter. All people care about camera, viewing experience, and how smooth it runs. My s23 ultra with snap dragon 8 gen 2 still runs smooth, no lag, no heating issues.

How can you say the 8gen elite is powerful or 9400 is powerful in this video.. because 9400 on the Vivo pro mini is a Chinese variant with Origin OS and Realme with 8Elite Indian variant is a pre production unit. The actual testing should be done once the phone is released in the market with final software with all optimization done.

Time to accept that Apple is not the only company that makes good chipsets. When Apple and Qualcomm finally got access to same TSMC node, Qualcomm won, that too using an insanely diverse platform, unlike Apple's 4 devices running the chipset. So when they raced in equally good cars, Qualcomm won. Android, being a capable OS that has a proper file system and can do actual stuff in the background, this is a welcome move to the Android Community.

snapdragon and mediatech came with a new processor, I was very happy but now I am very sad because its performance is not as it was being said. Wait for next year. There will be benefit in buying a new phone only when a powerful processor comes. Build quality, water resistant, battery, charging, camera, display, all these things does not matter for me, just like a powerful engine is main in car and aeroplane. Similarly, I believe that the processor is the main thing in a mobile, apart from that there is no other thing that can be given priority.

This will come down to how the OEMS adjust the power curve of the device. It's likely to be Oneplus 13 because of a "normal" performance mode tho. The chip is such a monster that limiting it's performance by 30% still has it performing better than 8 gen 3 devices
