Ring roads are considered highways and not expressways. Expressway are used to connect cities. But Ring roads are far better than expressways. Every city should have ring roads. Btw i am from Hyderabad. And we already have 2 ring roads and a 3rd under progress

Outer ring road is not an expressway. It is just City Traffic specific. Who told you in next 3- 5 months it will open? - Just 1 phase is completed. Amausi Airport work is going on. No work has been done on the route that will take traffic load from Kanpur Road. With elections till June the working won't even start.

Needed Bengaluru- Mangaluru express way in Karnataka.

Political will is lacking by all parties current MLAs in Karnataka. KA had only 2 real visionaries- Devraj Urs and then SM Krishna during early 2000's. Its nobody now ! In this video you still see only 2 projects in Karnataka, that too going very slowly. And those are also only 4-6 lane (same as Tier-2 cities), while all other major Tier-1 cities are having 8-10 lane wide roads and Delhi-NCR leading everyone with 12-16 lane wide expressways ! Political will is important, but also the ministers in power. We need not just BJP or particular party, but someone who is less talk and more work when it comes to clearing approvals and obstacles for major Infra projects. Do you know Bangalore PRR project is on paper for last 18 years !? Not even tender floated for construction. BJP came to power many times in between, but nothing happened. However in same time look at how Hyderabad road network was developed , including ORR and now the STRR- within 3-- years many 100s of kms of roads were built. Again it was a capable person- KTR (I'm not supporter of a particular party but recognize achievers), though not from BJP.

I am from Punjab I live in Ludhiana there is good highway 6 lanes from ludhiana to Phagwara its distance is 35-40 km which take about 30 mins and from Phagwara to Hoshiarpur is same distance but there is only 2 lane road which take us an about 1 hour I want 6 lane highway. Baaki bjp in power 💪

Mumbai paid more tax than entirety of karnataka for decades before bangalore IT boom was even a thing. Back then if mumbai also said, i will not give my tax revenue to any other state then what would karnataka be like today? No good highways/expressways for Saurashtra and Kutch region of Gujarat. The Kutch region deserves an expressway It handles almost all the road cargo from entire North India because of ports there. In kutch PCU is way better than multiple expressways constructed near Nagpur (Although I cant deny bxoz Gdkri is frm Nagpur so he will built there more) Also Saurashtra needs some real good highways, the coastal highway connecting Bhavnagar and Somnath is still incomplete. Good to see growth 📈 but the growth should be equally distributed Here it seems to be completely biased towards UP and Maharashtra

If you want to know the real reason, not the politically motivated excuses, it's because of environment and topography. It's easier and a lot cheaper to build roads on plains than across mountains. Bridges and tunnels drive up the costs by 100 fold. Also, it's very difficult to get environmental clearance due to forests needed to be cut down to build wide expressways. Even in the central states, areas with forest cover don't have expressways passing through them.

Sir every region in India have few expressways like South Indian states Uttar Pradesh is an exception as they construct their expressway themselves not by centre and they even construct expressways where there is less traffic then 50,000 PCU(traffic measuring unit) where as center only construct expressways where there is more then 50,000 PCU traffic For example centre was planning a 6 to 8 lane expressway between Bengaluru and Chennai but when the traffic report came the traffic was less and therefore they reduced the lanes to 4 lanes

Sir Central gov is only constructing Expressways where is there is more then 50,000 PCU Traffic For example the traffic on NH connecting Delhi and Mumbai is more then 80,000 PCU that's why gov is constructing 8 Lane Expressway
