The soldiers marching at 5.30 mins are the Kumaon Regiment of the Indian Army. At 7.15 mins, the airmen in blue are from the Indian Air Force.

Macron had invited modī at the French National Day military parade last year There were also 240 Indian soldiers who had led the way plus 3 rafales of the Indian Air Force who paraded. Macron was invited back symbolizing the good relationship between the two countries and their 25 years alliance. The French Foreign Legion also paraded on the Hell March. These are the ones with the white kepis at the very beginning of the video.

@@Unstable_TV In Indian Military there is a unwritten rule if any soldier salutes to his senior or his mate or his junior then in response that soldier also has to salute back. The President is the supreme commander of All 3 forces in India. Hence when any soldier salutes him (president) in response the president has to salute back also.. Even 95-98% of people see any army personnel in public then they salute military personnel in respect. And if they saw someone saluting him, military personnel gracefully even salute back to those common people❤
