The combination of the big red dashboard and tank against the colors of the rock faces, trees and sky made for a beautiful scene, especially in the bright sun. Any screen shot from this video would make a beautiful post card. And IMO, the clarity of your filming made for an 'old timey' feeling. Perfect. I'm totally mellow now. Cheers.

They handle much better than you would think. A lot better. Harley road king, ultra, Indian Chieftain, are all big bikes that handle like a much smaller machine. They just make great handling big bikes these days. Frames are different than the old days. 20 years ago big bikes handled like ...well...big bikes lol. Lots of improvement nowadays

Love it! The blur made it look like a videogame cutscene at times! Also, that sound is absolutely amazing. When I tried riding a Harley after many years on a VFR I was skeptical but I LOVED IT. The rumble, the sound, the cruise... I get exactly what you mean when you said "it killed my need for speed". I was just so happy cruising and enjoying the ride.

AWEsome, dude. Specially the sound played thru a high-end Fisher amp and KLH speakers. You can literally feel the thudding exhaust note in your chest, particularly at gear change and acceleration. And watching on HD big screen is almost "being there".

I’m not a big fat cruiser guy (but I am a big fat guy), but this was great. While I never see a big v-twin dresser and get excited about it, I’d happily spend a day riding one. I like most motorcycles, and enjoy how different the ride and feelings you get from different bikes are. This was an interesting change from most of your videos, it’s the first time I’ve ever felt relaxed after watching a Schaaf video! I know that you were trying not to scrape, but hearing a bit of floorboard getting scrubbed off reminded me that it was still you doing 5he ride! Haha

I enjoyed the ride you shared and felt like I was riding my own bike, which is a 2016 Indian Roadmaster. I removed the large luggage rack off the back and the front lower fairings. replaced the original seat with an Ultimate Seats solo seat with back-rest and replaced the original slip-ons with Rinehart slip-ons... also replace the air cleaner with a high-flow air cleaner... this bike is a head turner... a high class bagger! I like the way you ride. You mentioned blurriness, but I had no issue with any of this video... just felt like I was riding right there with you on my own Indian... Never thought I would own an Indian... now that I do, I am so proud of it... wouldn't trade it for anything. Every time I ride, I spend a bit of time in a nearby parking lot working on my start, stop and turning (U-turn, circles, figure 8 techniques) keeping that rear wheel loaded at slow speeds, working he clutch and throttle with just a little rear braking...the better I get at these techniques, the more I enjoy and love riding.

Schaaf, another great video. This takes me back years ago, maybe I should say decades to when I first started riding in West Virginia. There is something that is so relaxing about working a big twin through mountain roads. Other motorcycles have similar effects but not quite the same. I don't believe it matters weather it is a vee, flat, or vertical they all seem to have a nearly magical relaxing effect. I have ridden all three and they are calming, not all of them are slow plodders either, so do not forget that bikes capable of high performance can also be very relaxing.

Very impressive pace for the big fat bagger. It's rare to see them ridden with any level of speed here in the US, even though they are extremely common here. That huge twin also sounds great. I've ridden the Chieftan myself and its handling impressed me for such a huge bike, definitely corners better than its Harley equivalents.

I ride a sport bike, but recently a friend and I rented Harley Electra-Glides to tour the Texas Hill Country. I'd never ridden a cruiser before. I'm shocked how much I enjoyed it. Sport bikes are pure bliss on a twisty road with no traffic. The reality is you're always itching for that, and are usually stuck going slow and being uncomfortable. The Harley was just fun and cozy at every speed. I'll probably end up getting a big V-Twin tourer soon....for a second bike ;)

A big, narrow-angle, single-crankpin V-twin is, to me, the most comforting aural companion. I have put 150,000 miles on my 2001 Kawasaki Nomad Fi in a combination of daily commuting, trips up to 10 days and 2,400 miles, and a couple of 1k Iron Butt rides. The growl and staccato burble when short-shifting through the gears, the comforting rumble when cruising. It is music, meditation, gentle massage.

I built up motorcycle Social Media channels reaching more than 110.000 bike enthusiasts. It's tough work but on days like this it pays off.

Rode one of these at Daytona Bike week. Sport bike guy my self, but can definitely see why people like these bikes maybe when I’m 65 lol Thing was awesome. Definitely gotta ride the Scout. Would not recommend the bobber as it’s hard to hang on while accelerating.

I had to listen with headphones on to really get the sound. It sounds fantastic !! It's going to be a tough decision between Chieftain or Honda Goldwing for me 🙄

There is definitely something nice about riding a fat cruiser. I took a 2018 Harley Street Glide through Montana, Idaho, Washington and Oregon for 2 days during my stay in the USA last summer. I thought about renting an Adventure Bike instead but I am glad I went for the Harley. It is just a better fit and it looks much cooler in the video (as it happens - this video was my first ever Premiere Pro edit & youtube upload). Anyway, your sound setup is just excellent - good sound makes all the difference. A shame with the GoPro image stabilizer - I just bought myself the Hero 7 and was running into similar issues with the ND filter - can I ask which strength ND filter you used for this video? is this a ND 8 or ND 16? Very nice video & a pleasure to be along for the ride! cheers!

One of my dream bikes . How many years of riding would you say it takes to be able to handle the corners at those speeds ?
