@@alfonsoandjessica Since you asked, Gulab Jamun is from North India. In fact all the curries that you have been trying, naan, roti, tanduri chicken, butter chicken, chicken tikka, baingan ka bharta, palak paneer, etc etc are all from North India. South India is mainly famous for Idli, Dosa, Sambhar etc Although India is very very diverse. Food and language changes after every 100 km. North India is not one region, it is divided into some 10-15 states and each state usually have different ways of preparing the same dish. Taste changes within the same state also, in fact it changes between different communities also. The dish with the same name might taste totally different in different regions. Besides the food that you hav tried are just a few out of thousands of dishes, there is no end to it. And if you add to it the home cooked meals in India, the flavours would be totally different from what you are eating in restaurants, although dish name might be same. And people in India prefer home cooked food over restaurant food in general.

Maam @4:43 those are vinegar socked onions , which are generally eaten as side dish with naan bread and any cream included gravy (i.e butter chicken or Butter paneer etc ) . it gives slight change in texture(crunchyness ) and vinegar sour taste which cuts creamy gravies taste very well ...... I loved ur food vlog. However I have a suggestion about thumbnail. Try once, take all your food at front putting red and spicy or eye catchy food at 1st front then rest food on lower rows..Sit behind that, staring at d food. The dance form is KATHAKKALI from the Southern State of Kerala - Gods own country Gulab Jamun is believed to be originated in India, somewhere around the medieval period but you will be shocked to know that your favourite sweet dish hails from Persia. This delicacy is very much similar to an Arabic dessert named Luqmat-Al-Qadi, which was introduced to India with the invasion of Mughal emperors. A theory also suggests that it was first prepared by the personal Persian chef of Shah Jahan but there is no evidence to support this theory. The world ‘Gulab’ was derived from the Persian word ‘gol’ and ‘ab’ which respectively meant flower and water which referred to rose water scented syrup. The other word 'Jamun' is the Hindi-Urdu word for the popular Indian fruit Black Plum which is almost of same shape and size. So, this is how your loving dessert got its name.

I really like your videos, but I have no idea why you go in the opposite order of eating stuff. Appetizers come first and main course comes last, not the other way around. If you have a hard time distinguishing them, in Indian food, food without gravy are generally appetizers, and vice versa. (This is important too since the tikkas you had need to be eaten hot right off the tandoor, that's why they put the butter right in front of you; eating it cold(er) takes the taste away from them)
