🕞Time 7:06 Samosa - 🤓 From Wikipedia : Samosa from the Persian word Sambosag (Meaning triangular pastry) is a fried South Asian and West Asian snack. It is a pastry with a savory filling, mostly vegetables, spiced potatoes, onions, peas, also non-vegetarian meat, or fish. It is made into different shapes, including triangular, cone, or crescent, depending on the region. 🇲🇾 In Malaysia, our samosa is always triangular shaped. 👉🏽 What you had is what we locally called Curry puff or in Malay, Karipap. 🤓 Also from Wikipedia: Karipap, pronounced [kā.rìː.páp]) is a snack of Southeast Asian origin. It is a small pie consisting of curry with chicken and potatoes in a fried or baked pastry shell. The consistency of the curry is quite thick to prevent it from oozing out of the snack. 👉🏽 The traditional karipap you had is half moon 🌙 shap and deep oil fried. 👉🏽 Spiral curry puff (to those who know it's name) is a more fancy variations has a spiral pattern shell which is make of 2 layer of dough to give it a more texture feel to it's shell. 👉🏽 Another variations many insist of calling it Curry "puff" is found in bakery shop as it is make with puff pastry or dough with multilayers of pastry margarine which gives its multilayered skin and come with many different types of curry filling. 👉🏽 These Curry puffs are oven baked and are rectangles shape but often triangles too. Cc.

CC-Happens often in most Indian/Indian Muslim restaurant that u need to tell them what u ate or drink when u wana pay. Perhaps u can get them to write down the price on a piece of paper when ur meals are fully served to u. There are many Indian/Indian Muslim restaurants because there are many races in Malaysia, Chinese and Malay included that likes to hang out and eat the food. Thus you might be surprised to see non Indian customers in these restaurants. Also, there are many other races in Malaysia apart from the 3 main races. There are the Natives of Peninsular, Natives of Borneos, the Eurasians (Portuguese etc), the Peranakan etc. There are actually a few hundered of them.

The population ratio is questonable. The 70% are not entirely malays but includes sabah and sarawak natives plus orang asli, jungle tribes who lives in secluded rural areas in peninsular. I would put malays at 50%. Or just slightly more.

There is a large number of immigrants from India and mainland China. That’s one of the reason u see a lot of them in Malaysia. Most of the waiters or waitress u see in the restaurants are immigrant in those countries as well as from Bangladesh
