I think these two qawwals are brothers. And these amazing words are of the great sufi poet Baba Bulley Shah who wrote in Punjabi (in shahmukhi script which visually looks like urdu), and is buried in Kasur, Pakistan. He died in 1757, long before India and Pakistan were separate countries.

There exists 2 kinds of love in Sufi philosophy, ishq e haqeeqi (fervent love of Truth; God) and ishq e majazi (metaphorical love; love of any creation of God) Wo Laila Majnu walay part mei example ishq e majazi ki thi (Laila Majnu ki) par baat ishq e Haqeeqi ki thay. Kalay rung se matlab ye nhi tha kay Mehboob ka actually rung kaala hai balkay ye tha k apparently agar humein koi kahy ya khud se khayal bhi aye kay God, Allah, Bhagwan nay kuch ghalat kiya hai tou humara ishq (jisko metaphorically Majnu kaha gya hai) is baat ko nhi maanta. Do listen those lines again.
