It is a very encouraging talk. However I think it is high time that scientific research should address the more urgent needs of this nation. What is the status of researches on issues of Waste Management. Water recycling, Diversion in the use of plastic in building roads, Use of ethylene to replace Petrol etc. The list is fairly big. The Government should give equal importance to these issues via s vis research on Artificial Intelligence et al.
