Someone wrote "maturity when .... Not gonna make you successful", I think maturity is when you pause for a moment and think if you became a successful entrepreneur and Raj calls you for a conversation, how would you answer these questions! Shantanu's own podcast, and here with Raj, is so incredibly insightful, he always comes across as someone so articulate, someone who understands the startup business so well. These podcasts are my go-to podcasts when I'm in a long drive or doing chores. So much better than watching other nonsense on TV or whatever.

You would know how to answer his questions WHEN you become successful. Just listening to other successful people to copy them once you're successful is dumb af. And if you keep watching this shit, feeling good and not doing the thing that makes you successful in the first place, then you won't ever be successful. It's just mind masturbation.

This podcast is just crazy. It has blown my mind insanely. Bombarded with out of box thoughts. Now I am come to know that only why successful people are saying that "you become what you think". Loved it.

Shantunu man one day would love to meet you and hear from you. Thanks Raj for this gem of a episode. The wisdom it shares here, it's wild.

*Lessons-* 1. TAM can be emotion 2. Curosity , resilience 3. Value check 4. 'Good friendship with good people for good amount of time '- hire them 5.'learning consumer shift' 6.'Show off proposition' should be there of your product. Brand value.Eg- Redbull. 7. Sometimes unsexy businesses have very sexy financials. 'Take Insecurity ideas'- pet safa, keshking etc 8. Make 20 crores fast. "Once you tasted blood ,you will crave more" 9.Distribution is most imp. Distribute like a boss. 10."Dukaandaar ko believer banao" means distribution in hand.

An absolute gem of a podcast. And what a phenomenal leader and a human being, I hope more people interview Shantanu so we get to hear more of his thought process and get to learn from him. Have rarely seen any indian business leader with such levels of intelligence coupled with genuine authenticity. "Off the charts" as Shantanu would say!

That work life balance thing is super true, I mean your work is your life. If I start a business some day then I have to put my 100 percent in it, if it was that easy to build a business by not putting much efforts and not being under any stress then wouldn't be everyone rich? Loved this podcast, usually I listen to it on spotify but I had time today. Thanks for all this content

Raj i have started watching your video and its really helping me. Thanks for creating all these contents. I have watched the full video for Oyo. For me the situation is reverse. I am in USA and i am writing this cold message to startup a business in India. I would like to connect with you guys " The sharks ". For me also its not only to make profit as a mission. The mission is to make Indian youth self dependent instead of relying for a government job. Trust me i will keep sending 200 cold messages with a belief that two will respond me back.

Fun Fact: Santa Claus' outfit colour was never red; in fact, there was not even a colour specified for that. It was usually up to the artist, but then Coca-Cola started portraying Santa Claus in their iconic red colour as part of their marketing campaign, and for some reason the whole world adopted their portrayal of Santa.

About the work culture. It is important that you like what you are doing. This can be because you have consciously chosen what you wnat to do or the organisation provides an environment for learning, development and recognition. Lots of organisation are very politicised and exploit employees ( dont recognise , abuse, threaten) . This is because they know how important the job is for you and your family. They take advantage of your vulnerability and misuse the power and position they hold
