I know you disabled comments on rear spring adjustment, but I can’t thank you enough for the video. As a new rider I just didn’t know how to do it on my scout. I didn’t want to pay someone to do them but I was hesitant to do it myself. Much appreciated man. Keep it up

These little lights are sharp. I appreciate all the work you do on your bike. I struggle finding parts that are Scout compatible as well. Its a big step forward when you find parts that are compatible.

Hahaha, no doubt. I meant to do a crayon rubbing on a piece of paper on the first side to use as a template on the other side. Too rushed, I was packing for a weekend motocamping trip.

Those are so small!! I've got Ken's Factory bullets in the front and Dean Speed under fender led kit in the rear on my Octane. They make Scout versions as well.

Yeah they are. If I take a picture of the bike from 6 feet away, you can’t hardly even see them, even if you zoom in.

I saw these on a scout at a bike show and couldn’t believe how bright they were so I ordered just one to make sure they were the same and then I’ll order another one , well I just got it in the mail today and my instructions are showing to install one wire to the tail light and one to the brake light and the ground to the turn signal ground , I haven’t done this yet but how would this make the turn signals work ?

Sounds like you ordered the ones that can double as a brake light. You can either do that and wire it to the brake wire, or just leave that wire disconnected.

You mention adding paint to prevent corrosion. My 2018 Scout has a plastic rear fender. Yours may be plastic also.

Seriously? I call BS. Now I want to go back to the dealer with a magnet. No, my fender is most definitely steel.

Yeah, I just had a half dozen people with 2018’s in the Facebook group confirm that the rear fender is steel. Stick a magnet on your fender. It’s not plastic. The little license plate holder is, but I removed that from my bike like a week after I got it.

Nope it’s plastic. Only thing not plastic is the frame it mounts to.

Doing exact same to my '15 scout. Took off the fender and saw a mess of stuff that intimidated me. How did you pull down the 2 white connectors so easily?

Yeah, the ECM sees them as a sufficient electrical load to not set a code or trigger warning light.

Watching this video made me cringe! Good eyeballing though. I went with the same light but bought the plates from joker machine and used the stock mounting points

Hehe, I used to do this kind of eyeballing for a living. Especially cringe worthy on a $100k ski boat’s dashboard. This fender is almost free compared to that.
