When mark started to saute the ginger garlic paste and shallots I swear I could smell it!.. looks delicious, we have something similar here in Indonesia it's called ikan asam pedas or sour and spicy fish, we use belimbing wuluh instead of pot tamarind (garcinnia?). Yum.

It is difficult to differentiate among these groups: West Bengal vs Bangladesh, Punjab vs Pakistan Punjab. Nepal vs Sikkim and north Bihar. Kerala and Tamilnadu vs Srilanka. I met a girl from Srilanka, I thought she is from Banglore or south of India. Only when she mentioned the city of Galle, I figured out she is from SL.
