My advice after living here for 3 years : If you have a good life over there in India then don't come here it's not worth it. It is way too much to do in here, you will face many spells of depression while some days you will be on top of the world. But mostly the people i've met here are much sad in life here as compared to when they were in India although they try to show their happy face but deep inside they still feel that they're missing their friends family and all those moments that they could've spent with them. But if you're really struggling financially and need a jump in life and are willing to do anything for it then Canada is for you. And +2 Students DON'T COME HERE BEFORE GRADUATION. Please live your early 20s and have fun over in India, please don't miss out on the indian college life. I made the same mistake and now i regret it so much I missed the college life in India which is completely opposite to Canada's college life. But i'm hopeful i'll settle here financially but once i'm good here i'll definitely go back to India and do something there as well I won't miss out the indian life in my future.

Also the problem with most of them is-1) Stay in their own community, friends, relative and doesn't socialize or even try to.2) The above mentioned reason is the major one for downfall of their communication skills.3) No plan at all from most of them before coming to Canada for studies, doesn't even know what program catches their interests. Its what ever immigration consultant fits them in, they go for it.4) Still living in a dream world, follows India religiously to the extent that shows in the attitude, style of living.5) Most of them, doesn't even try for big jobs in management, IT, construction, the one who comes with a Bachelor degree on a student visa being an exception as they are pretty clear.6) Fascinated about the glamorous life of Canada and waste their energy and money during this initial life changing phase.I can list many more reasons. One should believe Adaptation is the key to success and everything will fall in place if the steps taken towards the destination are assessed carefully.Disclaimer- I was myself an Indian student from North and associated with Canada on and off from last 10 years. Not trying to tease anyone or insult anyone as I am well aware of the struggle which we go by. But my request and advise is to learn and adapt, you will succeed and get every goal accomplished.

Main toh yehi kahonga ke bhai agar kisi ki set life hai (apna khud ka paid off ghar, gaadi, servants etc) India yeh Pakistan mein toh bhai waha maze se jiyo yeha ghisne kyun ana.... International students pay about 3 times more than locals and at they end they never really get the returns.... Gazab ki sardi -30/-35 ke winters, expensive life and accomadation, doing all work yourself dish washing, laundry, cleaning etc, life is struggle....Bhai agar India mein aapka paid off ghar hai, ek comfy life hai...toh India mat choro....

I don’t know how they passed in ielts. One of my friend scored 7.5 ielts, she is Montessori teacher and fluent in English and her visa was rejected for Canada. Right Now she is in USA. Im in Vancouver, Canada. I asked one guy that, who was my batch mate, where are u from? and he said from Punjab. So my second question to him was how is the situation of ielts over-there ? I was shocked when he said “Bhai udhar jugaad ho jaata hai”. What the hell do you mean by that. After that scenario I asked many people coming from same place and most of them gave me same answer. One more incident was one guy told me to apply for his permanent residency he will go back India in his state to give ielts exam, because “udhar jugaad ho jaata hai”. This is not f@@@ing fair. My advice to everyone who Wants to come to Canada is daily practice all the four sections of ielts, get good score so u can take admission in any college whichever u want and which u can afford. Please do research about the places where you are going to take admission.
