Game ball to Boston, her game play was solid, hats off to Clark for controlling the tempo and making solid passes. Fagbenle is improving and making key defensive plays and catches from Clark for scores. Coach Sides needs to also get the game ball for coaching a solid game, keeping players in without making unneccessary substitutions and making quick decisions to replace certain players due to their performance on the court. I hope this win can give momentum into tonights game against Vegas.

CC said she learned angles of passing from playing soccer, that's how she's able to lead people so well in the passes. I read somewhere that she was all state as a freshman with 2 goals per game average, I'm glad she chose basketball though.

It's funny cause I was saying that about her passes this year and he struggles have been making her passes in traffic. She is having to adjust to the length of the defenders and adjusting her angles to it. A lot of her passes are muscle memory. By game 10 the turnovers will be at about 2 per game and the asset will be at 8

As a former soccer coach I always said that about the two different sports but how they are similar in how you read the floor to make your passes. Playing soccer really helps your conditioning to get better too.

Aliyah Boston has caught a lot of flack and I think she has handled it with so much grace and fortitude. Knew her name, but had never previously watched her game before this season. I’m such a fan now. She’s done and will continue to do amazing things for the Fever and the W.

I watched AB a little prior. Having watched all the games this year, I was surprised at how much she needs to improve her skill and touch. She succeeds with brute force and determination and fight, but her skill needs to improve around the rim. She doesn't have a go to move either. That said I do agree with how AB, and the entire team for that matter, on how they've handled everything. Very commendable.

This was Great Postgame Interviews, really enjoyed it. I like how Temi, Caitlin and Aliyah Retain their sense of humor and giggling a little during the interviews to show the lighter sides, Which is a good indicator of the bonds that they are All building as Teammates. I Think Coach sides is Finally developing some Better Strategies approaching the Games Because there’s honestly been a few close games besides this Win. And while I do still feel the way, with some Constructive criticisms with Coach Sides, And some of her decision making, I do see improvements and think that the last couple of games have been better. And I also have to remember and remind myself that this is the youngest WNBA Team, With several players with very little Long time experience in the WNBA. One thing I would like to see which I have not seen is seeing Celeste Taylor get some playing time in the games. I’m a Hawkeye and yes I love Caitlyn Clark, and the other players, but I would like to see Celeste Taylor getting some Playing time experience in. It is not good to wait till mid to late season to start putting some of the players that have no experience in the WNBA into games and expecting them to do much, they need that experience right now, not to mention that Celeste Taylor Is a very good Defensive player And she’s got good hands good eyes and she is a fairly good Shooter and Passer as well.
@shf45925 ай бұрын
She also has good speed which would be good for CC’s up tempo game. I didn’t understand,why she didn’t get in those first 2 games, especially the Liberty game blowout just to give her some WNBA experience.

Clark, Mitchell, Fagbenle, Boston, Smith have good chemistry now. I think with more games they will get better. Berger, Katie Lou, Wheeler and Wallace need a little more time together to be comfortable but time is a luxury that they don't have. This team is improving every game.

Takeaways from Coach's pc: -AB telling her to calm down and breathe -CC drawling up plays and helping her think strategically -Temi accolades more and more...perhaps its just time to put her in starting line up -The players have coach's back -Coach leaders with emotion, determination, and fight... thats all good but her leadership and strategy and IQ need improvement. Coach should be telling her players these things, not the other way around. But it does appear they have her back. She hasn't lost them. Perhaps even getting them to believe.

Great win , great recovery , spoke with MJ after the game , he stated , if u allow CC to play her natural game , her teammates will automatically become aware of what's needed throughout the game, and it will develop them individually to improve they game.... which is exactly what MJ did with the bulls , and Stephen curry with the Warriors, Kobe with the Lakers ,and many more . Perfect example, Luka , Dallas won by allowing Luka to play his game , so when u look at what indiana fever coach Christie sides has been doing, truly is nonsense, does not have a clue of a game plan , and her specialty is yelling at her players and belittling them at post game interviews, absolutely disgusting representation of a coach .....
@Juke5825 ай бұрын

Sides has tunnel vision and plays favorites... She's got seven first round draft picks on her roster and refuses to rotate the bench in and out to give fresh legs or possibly form a team chemistry that goes beyond her post up and battle it out in the paint mentality!!! This coaching staff hasn't even begun to find out the depth of their bench or how good players like Grace, Lexie, ext can be!!! The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results... If it weren't for the players taking the tiger by the tail the Fever would be slow and deliberate on offense... Score 77 and lose by 17...
