Aaaah as much as I know what I should expect from Jingles playing this game, this episode was especially aggravating. Just the lack of any awareness of doors or walkways and running past everything all the time... Love you Jingles, never change!

This is such a fun game to play, i like how you can adjust the adventure difficulty separate from the combat difficulty which affects how hard it can be to solve puzzles. Antonio is also such a great character. also jingles didnt do it under the library but you can use candles and torches to light other torches and braziers when they are present. repair kits are for weapons associated with indy's outfits. every outfit has a weapon that you can use, and when the durability is used up, it is broken but not destroyed like weapons you pick up. repair kits fully restore its durability allowing it to be used again

I'll beat this drum one more time only because I seriously think you'd really enjoy them, O Mighty Gnome Overlord: if you like this game, DO check out the Dishonored games. The main series games (1 and 2) mostly, but the DLC is also worth your time. Great stealth-action, great worldbuilding, great exploration, the second one even has a character I find fairly compelling (post-timeskip Emily). Would LOVE to watch you play through them sometime and get your reaction!

30:48 he brought a colour camera (it was invented in 1907 with upgrades coming in 1910) but can he afford the film and then get a colour film developed? There was a reason why most photos before the 1970s were taken in black and white - due to costs and film availability but also the stability of the film and finish photos along with the possess of the colour film.

Morning Jingles. Ah yeh, shame about that infantile handholding. It's a damn mystery to me why so many devs overburden their games with it. It's an immersion killer. On the other hand we have the best facial animations I've ever seen in a game as well as stunning environments. A lot of positives about this game but unfortunately the few negatives are rather glaring. Can't easily overlook them.

You're not alone. I hold a B.A. in game design (for whatever that's worth), and this game comes SO close to being truly great only to be let down at the last second by a handful of minor, but slightly deal-breaking, design hiccups. Example - the game straight-up demands stealth gameplay in a few places, but the mechanics don't want to facilitate that. I'm standing near the back of a truck in Giza, trying to throw a dead Nazi into it in order to hide the body (something games like Assassin's Creed and Dishonored seem to understand is a necessary component of stealth gameplay) - but instead, Indy just yeets the fucker against the bumper and lets the body drop onto the sand. Sure enough, another Nazi walks up, finds the body, and so begins what Yahtzee Croshaw so eloquently dubbed "the cockup cascade." That's just one example, but it REALLY breaks my balls when I look at how good the rest of the game is.
