I love how Gantz looks not only utterly stunned that he's actually injured, but horrified that she hit the painting (which she missed), and then when the second shot is fired he fails entirely to notice that the Austrian Painter (now painted) has a bullet hole between his eyes. It's these little touches that warms the soul, they really tried to do the movies justice where they could.

Hey Jingles should you read this want to thank you. Been watching you for years and right now your posts have been a great way to take a vacation from my harsh reality. I live near the fires in LA. I had to evacuate. I only got back into my place which didn't burn to the ground like a lot of houses just blocks from me. It's a hard time and watching your videos has been a great way to distract my mind and not think about the devastation. You rock. If you ever come to LA, I'd love to show you the church I went to which was built by the Patton family, yes THAT Patton Family. There is even a huge stained glass window dedicate to Gen Patton with him as St. George. You can probably google Patton stained glass window. There's also an excellent tank museum in El Monte. Anyways, thanks old man (I'm probably older than you, though). Your youtubes have helped keep me sane.

4:45 thought it was when I saw it in one of the other videos: that's a LMS Stanier Class 8F locomotive, which the British didn't bring to Egypt till 1941. Though I must say well done to the game designers for using an accurate model of a locomotive that was in Egyptian services, albeit not in 1937.

Well, aktshually Jingles, the MP38 and MP40 where developed by Heinrich Vollmer, not Hugo Schmeisser. They where based on the MP36, which was designed by Hugo Schmeisser, but apparently never got past the prototype stage. Hugo Schmeisser would then go on to design the MP41 based on the MP40.

Voss is so hateable, well-written and well-acted that he's actually likeable (as a movie-villain)... And I honestly don't know how to feel about it lmao Not to downplay Troy Baker's performance as Indy here but, if I had to choose between them, I'd give my Best Actor award to Voss¹... because, having already seen a full playthrough, I can assure you, it gets even better! __ ¹. Some of the facial expressions and animations definately fall into the Uncanny Valley. When you looked at that small opening and wondered whether you could go through it and it was too small, I immediately wondered what would come out of it. The game didn't disappoint. Don't think you could have created a line. The safe zone of a torch on the ground seems to be rather small. You did use a repair kit on a stick thingy in the Vatican IIRC. Mostly to try it out. And yeah, that was part of the priest disguise. The book was called "Jagdwissen: Sicherung von Munition und Ausrüstung" (Hunting knowledge: Safety of ammunition and equipment) by Hans Dietrich 1930 edition. "Schnecke" is German for slug or snail. It's the general term for both and "Nacktschnecke" (lit. naked snail) is used for slugs. Snails are "Schnecken mit Schneckenhaus".) "Engel" is of course angel. Voss's first name is Emmerich. Haven't heard that one in quite some time. One of those older names that has fallen out of fashion for almost a century now. The documents are difficult to read but what I've been able to read so far was well written. "Achtung: Sperrgebiet" (Caution/Attention: prohibited area) seems a bit of an odd sign at that location. It would more likely be used for bigger areas/zones and not inside a building. Don't think there ever was a battleship Kummetz so she won't be missed. The sign to the "securer area" read "Zutritt verboten" (No entry) but the warehouse had "Wareneingang" (incoming goods) painted on it. Doesn't make much sense. Of course Gina has no problem escaping. I mean she's been using no-clip and teleportation the whole time.

favor of prickly Pear: name is actually surprisingly close to what its like. Under the rough touch spiny skin the texture is very similar to a pear. Imagine a strawberry that is bit under ripe with nature undertones giving the sense of some sugar is required. They are not bad just not my first thing I go for.

Persimmons are one of my favourite fruits, at least in moderation. They're like a crispier tomato in terms of structure and texture, but very sweet, almost like a fruity caramel. They get sweeter as they ripen, and as far as I'm concern are best when you can just about notice a slight squishiness when you press on them. At that point they've still got some lovely crispiness, a rich flavour and aren't overly sweet yet

They sell persimmons as kaki fruit in most Tescos. They're basically plum taste with apple hardness. Prickly pears are medicinal plants, not food, they're the fruit of some cactuses hence the name.
@Fitzwalrus062 сағат бұрын
They are often found in produce departments on the West Coast of the US. Also, free-range cattle like to eat them (the ranchers burn off the spines on the prickly pear cactus first) so they must have some nutritional value.
Сағат бұрын
@@Fitzwalrus06 In Europe they're sold as a paste that's supposed to be high in vitamin C and magnesium, so an alternative to artificial supplements. I guess they have some nutritional value for the sugar and fibers in them, but they're not the kind of food you'd buy in bulk for eating, at least in Europe.

anybody remember the "Game Genie" for the NES? It was a thing you pit the game in and then put the Genie in the NES,it had a bunch of cheats built in and I had one and it was'nt as good as advertised to the best of my recollection. Seems like it had just a few "cheats" that were'nt well known but it seems like it did'nt go over very well,but back in the late 80's and early to mid 90's amost of the console games had "hidden" content or cheat codes and their was'nt no internet to help,although you could get magazines that would tell ya,I remember when Mario 3 came out and their was a special episode on TV just to reveal how to get the whistles that would unlock the other maps,my favorite was the giant world,the turtles were huge and well everything was gigantic,also the ice world,everything was covered in ice and slick,the good ol days

Oh dear! The companion stealth AI is hilariously bad; you're not kidding. Got me to thinking, are there actually any games where it is good? Maybe The Last of Us Pt1? That game was a benchmark for companion AI generally. Even something like Cyberpunk couldn't pull it off, remember Jackie darting about like an idiot in full line of sight in Konpeki Plaza lol? Seems to be something very tricky to implement and developers just cop out by making the companions invisible until you get revealed.
