Totally agree! I'm also 43, and really enjoying this Indiana Jones game! Also a big long time RoboCop fan, and Rogue City is now my official RoboCop 3 movie, and I will always from now on play Rogue City after whenever I watch the first two movies in the future to get the full Robo fix. I even went so far that I started a mod project for Rogue City where I commission mods (pay modders to do the mod) that addresses the sounds to be movie accurate, and even mods that improve the gameplay. I waited over two decades for a new RoboCop game so that's why I cherish Rogue City so much. It will also sadly be Peter Weller's last RoboCop game he's involved in as the voice of Robo.

I dunno man - I haven't played this game - yet - I will do - but looking at the action ... it kind of looks a bit floaty, like the melee not having the impact feel ... the reactions of the guys getting hit looks kind of fake too - like they're just staring at you, waiting for you to hit them - probably realistic to the movies xD - but does that make fun gameplay? The FOV looks more narrow than I'd like too - I'm guessing on purpose because there is a 3rd person model .... I also keep noticing a few rough edges, like Indiana walking in mid air longer than he should before falling through a hole ... I'm sceptical sir! what do you think about all this?

@@christophermichaelmccrary6676 The gameplay should have been Uncharted mixed with Red Dead Redemption. First person games only work if the character’s personality doesn’t matter in the story and/or isn’t complex. Third person games work when a character’s personality does matter and/or is complex and you have see the big picture of their journey. I can’t wait to play. The Last Crusade is my favorite film of all time and like you I was a little skeptical about it being in first person, but a lot of these reviews are assuring me that it’s going to be a really enjoyable time. I have faith in Machine Games.

Haven't touched a 1st person game since Portal 2. This looks like a good time, Troy sounds a lot like young Harrison.

@@abdouhefaina7564 isn't that game a buggy mess?

From the looks it reminds me of a simpler time in gaming à la Timesplitters where I won't have to spend 4 days and hours of videos to figure out how to play. I'm sold

I just wanted one brief moment of fortune and glory before the trolls started complaining. Idk why I reacted with such hostility towards negative reviews. But after years of seeing the Indiana jones franchise take punch after punch, this nerd wanted to punch back. Because this game is awesome.

Punch after punch? When, 20 years ago? Nobody cares anymore

I guess when the developers understand the source material you get excellent art?

Love this game. Started on easy. Once finished, I will bump it up each time I replay it. The best. At 72 I finally found my favorite game. I am looking forward to the future of great gaming. 😅

I definitely wouldn't mind a spoiler video but give me like two weeks. I got a day job and only got half an hour in so far.

I wasn't even a fan of Indiana Jones when I was young (was born in the right time to enjoy it, 1988) but I am really loving this game!
