Going up is easy. Going down is the hard part of any hike.

I did Indian head Mountain in July. It was hot as hell but, it's amazing.

I was crossing that creek and wasn't looking up but instead at my feet and where to put them and absolutely slammed my head into that hemlock tree that is leaning over the water. 😵💫

nice vid! Have you done the 25 mile hike of the Devil's Path during May and June? What advice do you have for me besides pack light? We are planning on 3 days 2 nights. Thx again!

Around about 5:28 is where I started instinctively groping for my ice axe, and I don't know how you managed 6:00 without front points. If you're seriously working on the W35 you need traction gear. Plus, if you have an ice axe you can glissade down all that stuff. Well, maybe not the Corkscrew Chinney on the east side, but you can surely slide the rest of the steep stuff.
