Edhi foundation is many of worlds developed countries and is working there free of cost from the money of Pakistanis , it is said that there was a time when Edhi gained so much popularity in Pakistan that on whichever road he came out for money there huge lines of people , traffic was jammed for several hours by the people throwing money on him but so sad that this angel died 2 or 3 years ago.

Following his footsteps there are so many in Pakistan now like Ramzan Chippa, Saram Burney, Ansaar Burney, Sailani, Al Mustafa Welfare, Alamgir Trust but they do not have so big impact like he has created. He does all, orphans, women shelter, oldies, hospitals, burial service, ambulance service, Emergency Relief Efforts but the best thing in my opinion that he mounted baby cots around all centres that if you have a child whom you cant provide or new born babies of illegal relationships whom people kill, sometimes unmarried mothers he pleaded to not to kill babies but put them in these cots and he will look after. He is such a blessing for thousands n thousands of kids. If such a person doesnt deserve Noble, then No One does.

He never accepted charity from the government to avoid their influence. He had two sets of clothing, one that he wore and the other one as spare. His ambulance service is the largest volunteer ambulance network in the world. He worked, without a day off, for nearly 6 decades. it is an officially recognized world record.
