In the beginning she was telling the story and it just built up from there with the story and her voice. Hauntingly beautiful voice and incredible lyrics. Her songs always give me the chills and get my emotions going.

You definitely should listen to "Trøllabundin". Eivor Palsdottir has been around for almost 20 years, and some of her songs in Faroese are quite fascinating.

John Lennon set out write a song with one chord in 1966 called Tomorrow Never Knows. It was a major influence in music. Eivor's vocal abilities are insane. No backup vocals needed.

She's awesome. So many great artists in the Scandinavian countries. Love them all. Not sure if you've done Agnes Obel or Kalandra yet. You should. "Riverside" for Agnes and "Brave new world or Borders" for Kalandra

what tremendous vocal range, tone and control....... Eivor's talent is exceeded only by her versatility ......... see any version of her (Trollabundin) or her duet with Einar Selvik (Helvegen)......... the people of the Faroe Islands must be so proud of their "daughter"
