Could you imagine being a tree and existing for hundreds of years and nothing really happening over that time and then at one random moment a wild Mac DeMarco wonders upon your location and performs for you.

Mac writes the most transparent, honest, emotionally-packed lyrics of any single artist I know. No layers of analytical complexity or spiritual mysticism (not to say I don't appreciate that, in fact MGMT's lyrics are my favorite out of any artist I've ever heard), just raw, honest emotions expressed so concisely.
