@jerrymondragon20207 жыл бұрын
+lolol ahah he took a year of some intermediate guitar classes. and you can tell in some live videos where he's just soloing over the chords. I believe he knows exactly what he's doing. even through his music he uses a lot of jazz chords through his professions. major 7ths, 9ths, all that nice pretty stuff. it ain't super difficult or shreddy but he does now what hes doing, has his own style, sounds good. and look where it got him. sure music has changed alot and back then almost all the guitarists were classically trained which is why they could shred so hard. but anyways back to the topic, he knows what hes doing. :)

Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Johnny Ramone, Eddie Van Halen, Slash, Kurt Cobain, Tom Morello, etc. have all inspired so many people to pick up a guitar. They all have/had their own sound and/or style that is easily recognizable. Some of them are considered to have a higher skill level than others. Some of them played different-sounding music than the rest; however, they all have in common that they're responsible for (like i said) influencing so many people, and even inspiring them to learn guitar. To me, Mac Demarco is doing just that. Bringing his style and sound, popularizing it, and inspiring many youth to pick up a guitar. Huge props to him for that. I got much love and respect for him.
