This song was 9 years old when I was born. I'm now 26 nearly 27. One of my all time favourites. Without fully knowing or understanding the lyrics I remember my dad on his knees playing this on vinyl and singing this as loud as he could to me. It's always stuck with me. At any age. It feels like a nice, warm place to just sink and forget about everything else. No need for a bridge, a solo section, or an outro. Just a place to be stuck in, feeling whole.

I just played this song in May of 2023 for my roommates 13 yrs old granddaughter and she became totally inthralled and kept asking me to keep playing over and over again! As a recovering addict the lyrics I’m gonna kick tomorrow is what I thought a lot but tomorrow never came for about 10 years. So glad I could finally kick the habit. It wasn’t heroin but about everything else. Love this song and I hope Jane finally kicked her habit as well. Not an easy thing to do❤️❤️ Much love to all

I was steel drum leader for the West Haven High School band in CT back in 1986. We had an entire set of Steel pans, Leads, Bass, Cello. They were tuned by 1 individual who was flown in from Jamaica I think - every couple years. Our band director was Alton "Skip" Carbtree!

Jane's Addiction is one of the greatest bands of alternative music. Back before it got played out in the 90s. Nothing's Shocking and Ritual are seminal albums of the genre. Wish they could of had more albums over the 3 decades yet am happy to have these 2 truly epic albums from the original lineup.
