Absolutely! I love the the optimism of the change to color for the final chorus when they share the dance where the darkness is lifted. Also, the additional guitar part that Dean adds to the second and final verses where he adds the accompaniment trill riff, this extremely creative touch to an uplifting and catchy melody is what seperates the trailblazers from the copy cat brand whores. The results show why development of a band allows the artists the chance to improve their skills while mastering the art of effective song creation. STP never rest on their past accomplishments to the benefit of us fans.

This music video was directed beautifully. The teletubby things represent an unhealthy addiction that doesn't seem as bad as it is. The lighting is bright and warm which signifies the band members thinking they're happy. But when the lighting gets cold and dark, SMG shows Scott that those teletubby things are truly vile, evil, that they're not a true path to happiness and that he doesn't need them anymore. Then after, when the lighting goes back to the bright and warm, Scott is shown with Sarah dancing showing that he is truly happy with her and doesn't need the teletubbies to be happy, until she leaves him. Then the lighting goes back to the cold and dark and he relapses and caves back into his addiction as he walks away with the teletubbies hands in his.

This song was overlooked and underrated. The first time I heard it, it was a winter day with leaden skies and I sat in my parked car and listened in a kind of trance. It's like for those few minutes, I was all alone in the world with just that song, but I would have stayed and absorbed it for much longer. It was a gloomy, but not bad, feeling. And later, when I had a copy of 'Sour Girl', I'd often play it a few times in a row to recreate that.

It's not a classic pop anthem. It's hard to understand why it even works. I've read some music theory and I've read Aristotle's Poetics; there are rules for this sort of thing, and the classic rock anthems follow these rules. We get a different Scott Weiland with every song in his physical appearance, but that powerful voice never waivered, no matter what his offstage habits were. By this period in his life, as you can plainly see, especially if you compare his presence from "Big Bang Baby", the heroin had made him gaunt, though he looks lean as if he worked at it religiously. He went through periods of sobriety & worked out when he was, then relapse, extreme weight loss causing gauntness, he became almost reptilian. Gone too soon, just 48, a father who left behind small children, a family who will gather without his presence but the memory. Rest easy, wherever it is we go when its our time. May your music forever remain, your presence on this earth, in this life, captured in the songs you sang.

The Weenie Roast in Miami in 1999 he had six months clean the day he played at pay from Park and had a mohawk there are 60,000 people there it was an amazing show I put that up there with the Atlanta show. I miss Scott dearly his lyrics really hit home with me.
