Quorianka is such a special person. We all agree she’s stunning, 100%. But man the way she speaks and interprets things is just as beautiful. I pray she does some more stuff with the depths that TNW did. I quit watching Yellowstone but now I’m going back since I found out she’s in it. Native Americans all over must be proud… I sure would be.

The Native American Indians are taken to be Hispanics, or Latinos. The white Europeans that came from Spain, baptized the native people with Spanish names, and the natives learn the Spanish language, but their race did not change. The Native American Indians occupied the whole American continent, not only the United States. The native people of the Americas belong to many ethnic groups, and millions are still around throughout the American continent. The Latins, or Latinos, are originally from central Italy in Europe, and are white people. Hispanics, refer to Spain, a European country, and its people are white. The dark skin people, who speak Spanish, and have Spanish names, most are full blooded Native American Indians, or mix with Native American.

Good to know that you do know the history of the American continent and the many tribes that exist to this day, I hope the United States appreciates its natives more and that they can live in harmony, greetings from Ecuador, land of Rumi ñahui and Nemonte Nenquimo natives of my land.

@@xtremegold2950 Europe is made up of many, many, different ethnic groups. The Jutes, the Saxons, and the Angles, are just some tribes from Germany that cross the English Channel, to England. The Latins, from the Roman Empire had already been there, and before the Romans, were the Celts. Later the Normans came from France. And today’s England has an abundance of people from India, Pakistan, Africa, Hong Kong, Jamaica, and so on. France has an abundance of people from the Arab countries. Germany has an abundance of Turkish. And Europe is greatly populated by non-European people. The native people of Spain, are the Iberians, the Celts, the Basques, and so on, and they are all white people. Yes, Europe was occupied by non-whites, like the Jews, Arabs, and Gypsies, for a long time, and descendants of those people, are still there. The Native American Indians in the American continent, occupied the whole continent, and still are around, except that now most of them are called, Hispanics, or Latinos.

My daughter's paternal side are proud New Mexicans of Spanish and Native American heritage. She is often mistaken for being Mexican American. And Hispanics and Whites assume she speaks Spanish and are puzzled that she is only an English speaker. Last year she took a ancestry DNA test... she's 13% Indigenous Mexico, 4% Indigenous North American, 13% Spanish, 7% mixture of North Africa and Southern European (i.e. Mediterranean). The rest is White European... She identifies with White but refers to herself as Hispanic because of her looks and that's the box society put her in. Interestingly, only her daughter looks like her, brown hair, brown eyes, tan. And her son doesn't look like her at all... blonde hair, greenish grey eyes... he does tan, though.

O’orianka Kilcher is an incredible actor. She should of played “Monica” in Yellowstone !!! My favorite scene is Angela explaining to Rainwater about how the United States has broken every treaty it has ever been in! They make rules for the Masters and the slaves! She’s great!!!!!

This video appeared in my feed today. Love the idea of indigenous-made movies and/or tv shows properly portraying our beautiful indigenous American people. If it was non violent (I don't watch anthing violent or gory), I would enjoy watching it. I would also love to watch a truthful documentary or series on any subject. (Currently I watch a lot of KZbin videos.) Would love to visit the Smithsonian Museum to see what they have on display. Will wait for a video or documentary to watch as traveling there is out of the question.

Russel Means once told me “ anyone born in the Western Hemisphere is a Native American.. I’m a full blooded Lakota Sioux ( Oglala clan) American Indian and proud of it.” He did not want to be called Native American and that always rubbed off on me, so that’s how I always refer to them..some think It’s being disrespectful but no disrespect intended!

I wonder if Hollywood would be open to Black characters that are connected to Native Americans? Black people became connected to certain tribes through slavery and inter-marriage. The Five Civilized tribes owned slaves. The descendants of those slaves are called Freedmen. Would Hollywood depict that experience? Blacks played a significant role in fighting with the Seminoles during the Seminole Wars. If a movie about those wars were made would Hollywood depict the Black Seminoles? Then you have tribes like the Shinnecock of Long Island NY. This tribe has a heavy black mixture that came with inter-marriage. This inter-marriage started when both Natives and Blacks were enslaved together. Would Hollywood be interested in depicting these Shinnecock?

@@harrycallahan686 How Blacks became connected to some Native American tribes. Slavery: "The five tribes who enslaved Black people-the Cherokee, Chickasaw, Choctaw, Creek and Seminole-became known to whites as the “Five Civilized Tribes.” “These people are trying to assimilate and figure out where they fit into the racial hierarchy of the United States,” said Roberts. “There was a benefit to be viewed as civilized by white Americans.” From: Professor Explores Black Freedom on Native Land The Shinnecock of Long Island NY: "Because Native Americans and Blacks were often enslaved and freed together on Long Island, intermarriage was common. I've heard it pointed out how many Indian roles in old Hollywood movies(westerns etc) were played by non Indian actors. Does anyone know if there were enough actual Native American actors to draw from during the 40s,50s and 60s in Hollywood? Were there enough Native actors in Hollywood back then to where there wouldn't be a need to hire non Native American actors?
