@@ShhItsSanti I was born in Arizona and always loved, loved, loved the fry bread fundraisers and watching the Apache and Navajo dancers. I would never wear a feather, even though I think it's so beautiful. I'll stick to flowers in my hair. But my only friend in elementary school for years was a Rez Kid, and when my family moved to California when we were going into 6th grade, we lost contact. That one still hurts, and it's been over 25 years since last I saw her. Our moms were friends and her Mom gifted a sand painting to my Mom, which my Mom still hangs in every new home she goes to... I know there is a lot of heartache and generational trauma wrapped up in Native culture, so I also hope no one is ignorant enough to appropriate the culture. This show is seriously the best thing being produced right now!

I was so excited that these amazing people were gonna be on Fallon’s show. However, I am not at all surprised by the fact that their interview was short and the questions were super neutral and seemed to avoid anything that was ‘too’ real and politically challenging. They deserve questions and conversations that center their indigeneity and the potency of what their identities and their stories actually represent. The interview was ‘nice’ and sweet and Fallon is known for his very light and humorous demeanor. I simply want to see these guys taken more seriously on these platforms. I know for a fact most YT folk ain’t ready for that but it’s gotta happen. The cast and the crew for this show are amazing and we also need more rep for other indigenous folk in the industry working on so many great projects with such original stories and true talent. I’m so proud of them, though I an a non-native myself, but still a BIPOC/PGM who has worked with and learnt from many amazing native folk, I understand how exciting this is for so many of our Indigenous folk here in Turtle Island 💙, from the elders to the youth. Representation MATTERS and Indigenous storytelling like this, from the hearts and minds of indigenous folk on and behind screen is so 🔥. My only hope now (with regard to this) is that they keep getting more opportunities and that one day shows like this are NOT a rarity. ❤️✨That way, folks like jimmy (yt or not), can also start to spread their awareness, concern, allyship, and knowledge about the people who are most sacred to this home of ours; our indigenous people who still walk and live here. Time to educate yourself folks and for those of us who didn’t even know about how indigenous people live today, you should take that as an opportunity to learn as well as really question WHY that is. You will see, that amongst other reasons, that’s why they need the representation. Besides, their stories are 🔥 so I have no doubt this thing will only keep going in a good direction. ✊🏽🥲✨

Not my business. But I think 🤔you should go back. It's always good to keep in touch with your family and roots.

@@bigroy8810it’s so weird that people are petty when others leave for a better life.

Watching the series now. It really gave me empathy for young people and their struggles.

I've watched the series a few times in a row. I love the quirky humor and the cast. The music is great as well.

This show is actually so good, it's like a slice of life mixed with natural flowing comedy.

This show is BRILLIANT. Not just amazingly funny, but also poignant, thoughtful and fascinating. And, of course, William Knifeman is, as one reviewer put it, "a slacker of a spirit guide".
