I am inspired by Dr Maraire's talk. As a nation we have been acculturated or socialized to the indigenous mindset, rather than the indi-genius mindset. That explains why we are going down. Thanks for the talk.

I enjoyed this talk, however my heart was broken because at 18:57 mins, Nozipo was about to say the most important thing we should do as a country. Something so beautiful and sustainable, but her first instinct was "getting into trouble". Its sad that in our country any solution for the better which might be though of can be perceived or is actually a life hazard :( . Well done for this beautiful talk and i have heed the call to genius. Consistent acts of genius.

Dr Maraire performed an operation on my mother where she was meant to fix one very badly damaged vertebrae. She fixed the wrong one and my mother was almost paralyzed. She agreed to help us pay the HUGE costs that we were faced with to fix her colossal mistake in South Africa. My mother was faced with over R250 000 in medical expenses all because of this stuff up by Dr Maraire. She then never returned a single call and we have heard nothing more from her. She paid herself royally for this stuff up - and felt no remorse in getting paid for an operation which she totally screwed up on one hand - whilst my mom had to then fork out R250 000. I have lost complete respect for her. She only cared that she got paid and was not at all worried that my mother was almost paralyzed.

I am one of those that enjoyed the talk. This mentality of entitlement has brought us down. You see someone directing you into a parking space, which you dont need any help, demand for 10 cents. Its the entitlement syndrome we have to get rid of and start to be indi-genious Inspiring speech

Dr. Maraire I am touched and inspired by your genius. Thanks for sharing it. The next book that I plan to read and review is the one you recommended Mindset by Carol S. Dweck. I have a dream to make a significant difference.

Start thinking like this and you are rich before you even make money, for wealth alone without wisdom is a curse....just coined that one myself. Just look at the diamond fiasco in Zimbabwe if you have any doubts. If you're a "leader", for want of a better word, how do you let the resources of a country get plundered like that. This sense of entitlement has brought down a whole country. Tiri kutonga, takarwa hondo saka isu chete nevana vedu ndisu chete tinofanira kudya. Is there a guarantee seven generations from now your descendants will be living comfortably, as they should? A man (I am using the word loosely here) who runs down his own country has no honor. One who hates his countrymen for differing with his opinion hates himself also. You only give what you have. Off topic a little but that's it.
