Just saw one on my railing in my backyard. I am so thankful for this educational video.

I had one show up here in Toledo this morning. It's been singing all day. I've been here for 13 years and never had one before. Proof positive that converting close to an acre back to a native prairie works. Build it and they will come!

That's cool how you see so many during their migration! We're super lucky in a different way, to have one pair nesting right in our front yard. kzbin.info/www/bejne/lYuogWeXZ9anjNk

We live in Vermont, where they are among the latest birds to return in the spring (middle of May) and when we see more than one male at a time there is always an intense battle. Our pair have apparently been nesting in the same exact spot for at least three years. This year's nest had four eggs in it, and as of today two of them are not eggs anymore - they are the most fragile looking infants I have ever seen.

It’s so awesome you get them for breeding season! We miss out on that🫤
