In-short. Indigo Business Class is just Mid-tier Premium Economy.

Mid-tier because except a reclining seat there is literally no other feature. In other Airlines, you are given a 3 course meal menu, an amenity kit, a display screen with headphones and a footrest.

Congratulations to Indigo for entering the premium airlines club for i think that there's a long way to go as it is nothing compared to new air India's business class, or frankly speaking, even the old business class ; it's like the premium economy of any airline. Although Indigo is a nice airline, it started with the keynotes of affordability and value for money and also rejected the idea of adding business class in the past as to promote equality (as said by them) but as of now they have entered the premium airlines club all the best to them

Tata's already had a Airline called Vistara then they bought Air India & then they merged vistara with AI, now there is no full service Airlines left in india other than Ai, therefore i hope that Indigo's transforms itself into a full service Airline like Ai in near future 🛫✅

If the prices are similar for other airlines like Air India on their business class then I would suggest you go for Air India. Comparison list is long but major missing pieces are :- 1) no welcome drink 2) no hot/cold towel 3) food is outright bad (taste,quality,options) 4) no thigh support 5) no cushion on seats 6) business class washroom is neither exclusive nor stacked with any kind of toiletries 7) No priority baggage tags 8) No lounge access

I made it very clear that you shouldn’t fly this because it is expensive. Business class is supposed to be a premium experience, that’s the only reason we pay so much. But at the same time fee people don’t need a lot of facilities but just space and privacy. I would want to have extra legroom and extra baggage allowance for my work related travel but usually passengers prefer more value for money tickets and this is definitely not worth ₹ 18,018.
