Hi, thank you for watching our video. To be honest we do not know if you are covered. We did find this: www.medicare.gov/coverage/travel-outside-the-u.s. But it is best to give them a call and explain you exact situation so you know for sure what is covered if you do need medical care abroad. Have a lovely day! Matt and Monico

As an indonesian, i would say Indonesia healtcare system is bad, many doctors stop studying when they became resident, or even reading newer research or medication, it's crazy that many still use old medication

Thank you for watching our video and sharing your opinion. Unfortunately there is a reason why many Indonesians who can afford it head to Singapore or Malaysia. For minor things we have experienced Indonesian medical care reasonable, but then we visited private clinics. Have a lovely day, Matt and Monico

Of course if healthcare in Indonesia is actually ‘not so good’ you cannot actually say so anyway right? Lest you be accused of saying negative things about the country… especially on the internet where whatever you post becomes like a ‘permanent record.’ So . . . Nudge. Nudge. Wink. Wink.

Hi Noah, thanks for your comment. Yes we described healthcare as 'not so good'...we could have said bad....it basically all depends on which hospital you can afford, what you have, and even connections will help (doctor in the family makes things easier). But as mentioned, if the local people who can afford it go abroad, then as an expat you should consider it too. Cheers! Matt and Monico
