Indonesia is the largest island country in the world, with thousands of islands. One of the largest islands in the country is Sumatra. In this video series we travel around West Sumatra, the land of Minangkabau and Mentawai people, with volcanoes, rainforests, wild beaches, lakes, and valleys.
Bukittinggi is the cultural center of the Minangkabau people and their culture, located in the Minangkabau Highlands of Sumatra. It presents various points of interest, guarded by two volcanoes, and serving as a starting point for exploring various nearby cultural, historical, and natural destinations.
