I just had my Drive Belt break after 370 Hrs. and found your video. My Broadmoor is similar, perhaps a bit newer though. Thanks for the detailed information. Much appreciated.

Great video Martin! I've got this same unit, mine was bought in May 2020. So far so good! Only difference, mine has the electric deck lift plus the electric height adjustment. Not had the deck off yet, and hope I don't have to! :)

Definite great machines! I have one that is older and does not have the electrics on the deck but I love it and the service on it is quite a bit easier than on this one. Luckily have not seen to many issues besides a charging system one

I've got a mid 90s Agco Allis 1616H, which is basically the same thing. I really like how simple it is to remove and install the deck, at least the stamped steel units. I think the engineers designed it pretty well. Better than a lot of the junk made these days. I did recently acquire a 38 inch deck and a replacement 44 inch deck to replace the original 44 that had some rot on it, unfortunately. I think I saved a bit of cash vs taking the deck in to have some patch panels welded. Couldn't turn down two good decks for $125. I also replaced the drive belt on mine, not too difficult. Just took a little time and some patience. Love the content! Keep up the great work!

Most of them are super easy to remove but this one is a little extra. They are made well, this is the same style I have just not as new. Backup decks and width options are awesome!

There’s no need to jack it up to remove the deck, it will come out easier without the jack in the way. As always a great video on the project.

With the larger decks even at an angle I can not get some to come out without jacking them up. I appreciate that

I've found the best way is to just remove the front bracket off the deck all together just a couple of pins.. once off it can come out without jacking up the front@@IndRepair

Another Good Video, Just a tip, (not my idea, I've seen it on another video) I thought it was a great idea. This guy had basically the same set up as you do, Above the lift he has a winch to lift the front of the tractor. Then he slides the deck out the front and on to his work cart. I can relate to the back issues, spent over 6 hours in ER last Saturday. ER doc said it was Muscle spasm probably brought on by muscle strain. Never hurt so bad in my life. So take care of the back! Anyway good job explaining and demonstrating the job. In my opinion, the original silver messy anti-seize is the best. I have removed bolts that had over 40 years of being outside in the elements, they came off as easy as if they were put on yesterday.

This would be great! I think my next setup will have this but in this area there is nothing up top I feel great about lifting with. I looked into it when we first moved in and although the rafters look ok I would rather not chance it

Great tutorial! When I try to remove the bolt holding the PTO clutch, the whole thing spins. What do I need to do to keep it from spinning? Thank you in advance.
@IndRepair

Usually an impact worst best otherwise you have to cam the engine to keep it from spinning

I need to start thinking about what I left. I had two hernia's in the past and now I have at least one more in another location, probably more than one.

I had my hernia surgery done about 3 years ago and still am not 100% it definitely helps to be selective on what you lift. I have a crank in my vertebrae between my L5 and S1 so back is always an issue

I feel bad for you with your bad back. I have back issues too and it sucks. I have fibromyalgia and any time I go to a doctor for any kind of pain. They just say it's "fibromyalgia". I literally have a huge bulge sticking out of my abdomen and they it's it fibromyalgia.

Briggs & Stratton bought them out in 2004 and they just stopped making them. One of the best built out there in my opinion but Simplicity does not describe how it is to work on them sometimes, depending on the model
