I'm guessing they didn't blow it up to separate the metals? Cause this is very time consuming!! Good job👍

It would be interesting to watch them remove those industrial exhaust fans shown when they were using the excavator please record what they do with the fans

I wasn't there the day they got to the fans, but I imagine they were dumped in the pile of all the other scrap metal.

I wonder why they didn't use a big shear to cut all those I-beams and other smaller metal structures? It would seem to be less labor intensive than using cutting torches and less dangerous.

1:13:23 I wonder what that chemical is they are digging out of the tank. That tank has rivets, that's old.

Like these videos, is there a part 3? Would like to of seen the chimney been brought down.
@JohnZWetmore4 жыл бұрын
There will be a Part 3 out in about a week. The chimney hasn't been taken down yet. I am told they will be nibbling at it from the top with a long reach excavator, so there won't be any spectacular crashing to the ground.

I think they are watching out for asbestos insulation of the tubes and structure.
@JohnZWetmore4 жыл бұрын
Normally they would remove any asbestos before they started tearing things apart and sending the fibers flying into the air. I was not there for the early stages of the process, so I don't know what they had to deal with.
