Because the vibe of the word is different.. i mean if you check the comments, half of them asking is the Artificial Intelligence is opt in, or they can avoid to use it etc.. just because of artificual.. but technicaly AI is in your phone for about 5 years.. Apple started to call it ML (Machine Learning) at the release, that is AI, just with other name.. and guess what nobody asked how they can turn off the ML.. just because it's called artificial not everyone welcome it happily, but the same thing with different name is fine for them (just like ML)

You don't get it. Apple doesn't have the information about you, nor the services to monetize it. That's why they say it's a focus on privacy and security. They don't have anything yet to make money of. Google is built on services and data. So they can make money of of that data. And they do. So will Apple when they can. Don't believe anything a 3 trillion dollar company claims. They are clearly only in it for the money. Otherwise they wouldn't be worth 3 Trillion.

I’m fairly certain they explained the semantic index in the developer state of the union… something called “app entities” unique objects with semantic meaning (an email, a note, a voice memo, etc). Those get indexed

Probably the most powerful feature is allowing an easy way for app developers to tap into Apple intelligence. That makes every 3rd party app on iOS as compatible and integrated with the new Siri and other AI features as Apple’s own apps. Knowing how closely developers usually work with Apple and use their frameworks/APIs, this can be a difficult thing for the competition to replicate.

@nothing please add in a feature to schedule earphones usage. Or you can use the sleep data to cut off ear phone usage if the user falls asleep. If the earphones are still on and the user is asleep the music/movie still goes on.. that affects the battery as well so I think having that feature helps.

They talk about apple intelligence like it’s nothing special. But no other brand developed such a useful and advanced AI in a whole system. Yeah, it was just a presentation and isn’t released yet but we don’t need to be fanboys to admit that if apple release new software features into their system it will exactly work like promised. Overpriced and maybe copied etc. but it will work and that’s everything!

Exactly, the funny thing is Nothing will never have the R&D to actually do the Tech that Apple does. So their only strategy is to shit on Apple, spreading their propaganda/marketing that they are the only one who is innovating(example a practically useless glyph light). PLEASE Make a sort of "best designed smartphones of History" video review where like in a museum you analyze what has been done the most brilliantly in this industry in the past. It think one beats them all : - HTC one M8 (masterpiece of design/speed/efficiency in every sense) with beautiful aluminium hardware which you should get inspired for upcoming Nothing Phone (plastic hardware feels cheap and annoying, plastic is a depressing material that belongs to the xxth century now). - Iphone 5 or 4 : best invention from Steve jobs and Jonny Ive ? - Review of IOS 5 or IOS 6, and old Android OS : why where they brilliant, why Steve Jobs design of OS experience was better than modern Cook's bad iphones ? 3:45 I don't think Apple Intelligence will continuously take screenshots and store them. Only the currently shown screen (more or less) would be shared. Sure, the semantic index still has access to all kinds of private data, but things like credit card details that you once entered onto a website in plain text shouldn't be as much of an issue as they are with Windows Recall.

I'm glad Carl did not speak against the OS level AI, even though some others did criticize it. Why I say this is the last video about AI, Carl himself had said the next step would be OS level integration of AI to make it more personalized. And that is what Nothing would go for than simply adding AI for AI's sake. I do think it is slightly scary but would still have called out the hypocrisy had he opposed it now lol. Kudos for not doing that.

Nothing needs to compare themselves with other Android phone. For their price range there are phones better in battery life , fast charging, camera and software stability. All they do is compare to a phone that is 800$ more and say how they are better. I can say 10 other Android phones better than nothing at this time.😂
