Enjoy something with more speed and heavyness? I would recommend "Romanticide - Wacken2013" or "Yours is an empty hope - Wembley 2015". Also great is the opener Song from Wembley 2015 - Shudder before the beautiful - this song has very dynamic, different parts, heavy but enlightning and beautiful. Tuomas on the keys is the mastermind of most songs, he is called the "Metal-Mozart". Listen to a few more songs and you know why. Some songs request a little background knowlegde, there are deep stories behing, especially "The poet and the pendulum" Some songs are just fu**ing uplifting, "I want my tears back - live Buenos Aires 2018" is awesome, pure joy and happiness, fades away all worries. Or just try Floor Jansen and Tim Akkermann - Shallows, surprisingly good and makes me cry everytime. You could also try the band Epica, great symphonic metal with an awesome female voice, male growls and lots of energy. I recommend: "Consign to oblivion- Live at the Zenith"

I’ve just come to realize that there’s NO point in trying to give someone a song list for Nightwish, it’s just impossible when literally EVERY SONG is a damn masterpiece in its own way!!! Lol OH and not to mention when u have someone like him that seriously appreciates it ALL JUST LIKE WE DO.. NW is the perfect match in music. Unbelievable compositions from Tuomas. Excellent musicians like Empuu, Troy or the drumming machine Kai, the incredible Marko and the goddess Floor. And the most important, all of them are down on earth and really nice guys 😂. Next to Nightwish you should react to EPICA. Epica is the 2nd unbelievable Symphonic Metal Band with a female vocalist, Simone Simons, who is magic and from another world, too. Please react to "Rivers" (beyond beautiful) and 2nd to "Unleashed" official live. You will love it! Also take a look at Ayreon "The day that the World breaks down". Masterpiece!!! These two bands are a MUST listening next to Nightwish 😊 Trust me. You will become a Symphonic Metal Head 😂😂😂

It is literally a finely crafted masterpiece of music, effects, lyrics, drops, building excitement, soft recovery, then keeping your heart just pumping and full of interest from start to finish. Cliff, I'm surprised that comment/(notice?) the member of Nightwish that you saw here for the first time. Troy, seen here playing that mandolin-looking instrument (mandola?/bouzouki?), is a multi-instrumentalist/vocalist who, while you can't really tell here, adds a very distinctive Celtic sound to may of Nightwish's songs.

You know what's amazing? Every time I hear this song I fall in love with it again for some reason I keep forgetting how incredible the song is, and by the way this is a great example of a Nightwish song that will never get played on American radio, the song is too long too epic and quite frankly it's too good....... It's almost like three songs wrapped into one phenomenal song....... And I always say this thank God it will not be played on American radio!!!!!!!! As Great As It Is, The Wembley Arena Concert Was Filmed 2+ Years Later, And The Entire Concert Is A Masterful Show Of A Seasoned, Established Nightwish. Floor is an absolute vocal athlete. How she is able to sustain such insane vocal belts, growls, clean, distorted, operatic, etc for this whole concert is truly amazing. If singing was an Olympic event she would have more Gold medals than Michael Phelps, and the same, if not larger set of lungs.

Oh yes I am subscribed. Nightwish is great at building a song to an epic climax. I think you might enjoy "Romanticide" or "Ghost River", both from Wacken. There is a little rap influence in those 2 songs. Still heavy rock, but something as little different. Peace.

The chorus is tuned in on Marco, which is interesting. They're both great vocalists, but it turns this song into a duet.
