She had to check exactly where they were to avoid looking at them during the show in case she broke down and had an emotional moment during the show - but of course, she nailed it - and @TankTheTech, you are going to LOVE the effects! Being outdoors, it gave a lot more scope for pyros, and they took full advantage! Just so you know, keep watching until the credits are over, to get all the easter eggs. Those fireworks of this outdoor gig (Tampere Stadium, 2015) are the main reason, I too recommend this version instead of Wembley. Not the fact that I happen to live about a mile from there. I learned about this gig afterwards from a youTube video... Well, at least I saw AC/DC there 2010, with Malcom Young and Phil Rudd in the lineup. I was waiting for the show to start when I see someone I know on the side of the stage. My godfather is a fire marshal in Helsinki and he was there, obviously to check the band's pyros. I wasn't expecting to see him there talking to their crew members and because I was at the front, I decided to wave at him. He happened to notice me, waved back, and then got a wave from the rest of the crowd as well! I don't know why I wanted to share this, just a memory that makes me smile each time. Anyway, I really appreciate these reactions and all the little facts you share with us :)

I'm constantly blown away by, well, everything. But shout out to both Marco and Empuu for their super clean tone. Even just doing simple riffs and what amounts to background stuff they just sound amazing. The bass is more forward than most bands mix it and I like that, I feel like a lot of times the bass gets lost even when they're doing something cool. And Empuu doesn't do a lot of the super fast flashy runs and stuff like that, but what he does is just perfect and fits whatever is happening in the song at that time like a glove. Some of that is Tuomas' composing of course, but Empuu plays his part perfectly.

I can't believe you haven't heard "The Poet and the Pendulum" yet. Even KZbin wants you to! I also second the suggestion to do "Greatest Show on Earth".

i think in the end when Tuomas is headbanging, the crew has put some big big nails in the keyboard stand, and hammered the stand in the stage dont you think so Tank ??

First time I saw this, I honestly thought the keyboard stand ain’t gonna make it.

Yeah. That stuff is getting seriously bolted down meanwhile, also are the stands much heavier and sturdier than during their early years. You can see the difference to the first third of their career. He was much more considerate about how he moved or how hard he hammered the keys back then. (Except for those "4 or 5 times" where he accidentally slammed his head into the keys or gotten his hair stuck......) For the past 10 years he's definitely gone full out. lol

@@Ilionej You are a great and loyal fan to observe that! Defiantly a great sign of their longevity as performers!

For fun, you should go and watch the rest of the stuff you've already seen done at Wembley. It's an awesome show!

Shudder before the beautiful, also at Wembley, is the starter of the show. Has some sick pyro shots and midway a sort of synth - guitar battle.

Things you never thought you'd say: Heavy metal bouzouki solo!

Try Yours is an empty Hope from Wembley. Floor does all of the low growls.

*Tuomas* - Ok, now we've had a musical intermezzo, how do we get out of it and back into the song? *Everyone* -PYRO!! *Tuomas* Ok then, pyro it is. And if you like pyro, just wait until Greatest show on earth, live Tampere

7:40 Right at that point you can start to see lights sink into frame at the top, as the trusses (?) start moving/angling down.

When you get a chance check out Bye Bye Beautiful. First song I ever heard from Nightwish and been a huge ever since.

Yes, 7 Days...!! For a reason or another, 7 Days to the Wolves is at the top of the list for me.

Always looking forward to your Nightwish live performance reactions. Most people don't think about the work that goes into making a show look and sound the way it does and you give us the info about that. So thank you for that!
