@stevekallio67833 жыл бұрын
Great reaction Cliff. Perennial live at Wacken open Air 2019 was actually the very first video and song I heard from Jinjer, by mistake actually (long story) and after watching it, I said, I don't know what I just saw and heard, but I think I love her LOL 😆😆, and I've been a huge Jinjer fan ever since. Funny thing is I've been a metal head for over 40 years, and I never liked "growling" vocals, but Tati and the guys, Eugene (bass), Roman (guitar), and Vlad (drums) are something special, they are just a phenomenal band. On that note, I'm gonna suggest reacting to Pit of Conciousness live in Kiev/Kyiv, it's my personal favorite Jinjer song, and it's frickin awesome. Let's just say Tati's growls towards the end will absolutely blow you away, it's terrifying, so much so that the Devil himself would be terrified LOL 😆😆😆 but also so amazing. Keep up the great reactions, looking forward to more Jinjer, and as always, stay Metal my friend. 😊🤘🤘🤘🎶🎶🎶

The names in interviews I have heard most as far as influences is probably Opeth and Mudvayne. But seriously this band bends genre so much they have loads of influences.
@xtravagentk12753 жыл бұрын
Also Gwen Stefani, Amy Winehouse, Bob Marley. Also Otep I believe is what got Tatiana into doing growls.
@Dark__Thoughts3 жыл бұрын
Eugene is the one who is heavily influenced by Ryan Martinie from Mudvayne (#brbrdeng). Opeth probably in terms of varying song compositions with their ups and downs, luckily not the length.
@Dark__Thoughts3 жыл бұрын
@@xtravagentk1275 Otep is where she learned that girls can do this too, and Randy Blythe from Lamb of God is the influence for the sound of her aggressive vocal style. If you listen to some LoG songs it is very hard not to notice the similarities in their screams. Edit: Another of her vocal influences is Sandra Nasić from Guano Apes, which was a pretty big German rock band in the 90s.

@alexj90563 жыл бұрын
You can hear the background vocals, more like extra tracks of her voice singing come harmony here and there. Not sure if they also use some pre-recorded support, but it sure sounds like, regardless, she's singing her heart out with immaculate precision on top of all that. The tracks add layers to convey the feel of the record, which is difficult to reproduce with just 4 people on stage. I bet they could hire touring musicians and play the same way, but it would be more expensive
