Everything they do is out of this world amazing and they have become one of my favorite bands of this generation. My mind gets blown every time I listen to them. Ok, I have to stop gushing right now. Can't wait to see your reaction.

What I love about Jinjer is that every band member plays to showcase the talents of their bandmates strengths. instead of competing with each other they keep trying to make sure their bandmates sound as awesome as they can be and in the process sound better themselves. You can hear their respect for each other and their creativity and you can hear all of that with every note and sound they produce. Every one plays for the band not themselves and its inspiring.

One of my favorite Jinjer songs for sure. For more live stuff....hmm, maybe "Whos gonna be the one". I Speak Astronomy is great aswell, but it is quite "complicated" piece, the official music video has the superior quality musically (though not particularly gear comment friendly).

I'm gunna vote for Retrospection next. The juxtaposition between the heaviness and the lyrical conten, and her OFF THE CHARTS control to just flip the switch and go heavy growls seamlessly are seriously on show here.

Vlad is amazing. I personally think he completed them. Not that the previous were bad - far from. But he uses so much more nuance in his style. Ghost notes, odd timings and flair. I think it brought them to the next level and it shows in their song writing on their recent albums/EPs.

I'm glad you're covering bands like this on your channel. This is the first time I've heard Jinjer, and although their music isn't quite what I might put on a playlist, I think they're very interesting and super talented and skilled. I always like appreciating great music, even if it's music I may not want to listen to over and over. I also want to note that I tend to find bands who combine both clean and scream vocals more interesting than bands that solely use one or the other, and I like to think there are very good reasons for that. Thanks for featuring this, dude!

Jinjer are a god tier band at this point. Everybody is on point and they're growing rapidly. This is one of my favourite songs of their because you can tell from Tatiana's performance it means something more to her. She is very aggressive, even downright beligerent on this one. And, of course, the music helps drive the point home.

This took my song of the year for 2019. The chopping between measures of 3/4 then 4/4 timing for the main body of the song, along with the way Vlad chooses to drum it, is SO brain-engaging. All 4 of them show technical excellence (as usual). And the atmospheric catch-your-breath section with Roman using floaty chords to create a soundscape with Eugene fingertapping melody while still using his left hand for lower stuff is delightfully musical.... & when Tatiana comes back in over that with those really tender vocals for a few bars.... o_O Just tremendous. :) I'm going to assume you're going to take my advice & look at "Who Is Gonna Be The One" live next.... I was serious when I said it'd be a great place to launch your TankTries™ segment- I'd be *SO* impressed if you set up a 5-string to drop-A & recreate *that* fingertapped run Eugene does!! LOL ;)

Great vid man! Really diggin your reactions, especially to this truly talented band. The amount of info you display, your vibe and your comments on the sound, instruments and music are very entertaining and insightful. "Teacher, Teacher" is an amazing piece of music, one of their best works and one of my favorites: the time signatures, shifts, blast beats, structure, switch between hard and soft, heavy and calm, clean vocals and growls...love it! These guys are really gifted! As for live performances, go for their best and fan favourites: "Who´s Gonna Be The One" live is a really hard heavy banger and the performance is gold! "On The Top" live in Kiev "Captain Clock" live in Ressurection Fest And of course the stunnig "Outlander" failure.color video, one of their first bangers and it´s the one that got me in this band! So fun to see you watch a live performance the same way as I do. I was backliner for 15 years, so I also notice the same things.
