15 people were not there in 1997. This was HUGE! One of the strongest 'mash-ups' of the UK Garage era.

I'm still hunting for a suncity tape from that era, unlisted anywhere. Jason Kaye with no gobshite MC. The best suncity tape ever. Or it could just be a legend in my head. RIP JK.

Industry Standard (Dave Deller and Clayton Mitchell) sampled the vocal from Somore, which came out as a US import on I records. The drums came from Nu Birth "Anytime" and they took part of the riff from "Going On" by Baffled and put the track out as a bootleg. It blew up and as a result they ended up translating it into a full vocal on the Somore UK release on Locked On.....

@@hvitserkr 100% this is taken (replayed not sampled) from Baffled, that is absolutely 100% correct.

No. This is the Industry Standard remix of Somore feat Damon Trueitt - I Refuse (What You Want). The original (produced by Wayne Gardiner) came out in 1995 and is a more chilled US Garage track. This remix came out 2 years later.

Am I right in saying this is the Industry Standard mix of Somore - I Refuse. And it got so big it became known as a separate tune on its own as Industry Standard - What You Want? The connection between these two tracks has confused me for years.

Lame I know... but I met one of the members (I'm sure it was Dave) a week or two ago. He's a cab driver now in South London and he loves Disclosure and despises Lady Gaga. For the latter part, I said to him, "Shame on you". IIRC they had two recording studios and one was in Salford or somewhere. He drove us from our house to a friend's in Brixton btw.

Old comment but... what!? I'd give him max respect for putting out some great house music like this track. And pre-Caracal Disclosure is legendary. Shame on you. :P
