Mighty Road America is EVERYBODYS favorite track. Next to the legendary Dallas street circuit F1 ran once in the summer early 80's, of course.

It wasn't a good look for Power then. It's definitely NOT a good look for him now! But, I'm not a W.P. fan anyways so, there you go. Edit: I just watched the incident with Dixie, WOW! That was a really BIG moment! I certainly can see why Power was so upset. 200 MPH and the closing rate is tremendous, then a car basically snaps a left turn right into your line. That's so unlike a Dixon move. I'm sure he's absolutely sick about that. 2 cars wrecked, both Chip Ganassi w/Mike Hull as well as Roger Penske w/Tim Cindric can't be too happy about writing off 2 of their "A" Road Course entries before Quali even gets going. Thank goodness neither driver was injured.

They are definitely quicker but the issue is that there is no rubber off line so the moment you go even an inch outside the rubbered in line you'll have a spin. Its like when a dry line starts forming on a damp track and you spin when you touch the ramp part on dry weather tyres

All to do with the camera lenses. F1 onboard video and audio is too sanitized unfortunately. Would be wild to see a wider lens to get a more true sense of speed along with raw engine noise.

Why are they having this race start so early? It will be on the same time as the Formula 1 race in Canada. That's really stupid. They should start this race at 4:00 pm eastern time after the Formula 1 race is over. The tv ratings are going to be way lower now. I won't watch it. I am watching the Formula 1 race instead.

Grojean was fast but incredibly accident prone. Numerous silly errors to the point he was receiving bans. You cannot compare him to the elite drivers of F1. So, with everybody flying off the track in Indy quali here, my point was I would be interested to see how Lewis or Max or one of the elite F1 drivers would match up, see how they’d handle the lower grip and downforce levels, and whether they would also be making errors or whether their quality would show.
