P2 and held it for a grueling 30+ laps at Long Beach is certainly an amazing feat there, Grosjean. That final hairpin turn during the closing laps looked sketchy as hell with all the spent rubber just lying there. I have a feeling that 1st win is coming soon for you. I mean, since the beginning of the 2023 season you guys have certainly proved that you have - at least - a race-winning car!

Barber, 2 tickets to Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with parking passes and and pit pass on Friday is under $300 and they intentionally undersell to keep the crowds from getting too packed.

Can't use it when saving fuel grosjean did less lift and coast but used less push to pass than thhe others Kirkwood also had an extra lapp of fuel to use push to pass

Kirkwood and Errickson pitted a lap later than Grosjean so based on when he pitted, the engineer calculated that he had enough fuel to finish the race but not use the Push to Pass. If Grosjean had used it, he would have ran out of fuel before the race was over so he couldn’t be aggressive and chase Kirkwood down. So basically it was kind of a miscalculation on the fuel strategy. The Push to Pass increases turbo boost and horsepower by 50hp but it also consumes quite a bit more fuel.

Grosjean had almost three times the amount of Push to Pass towards the final laps than both Kirkwood and Errickson but he couldn’t use it because he would have ran out of fuel so they settled for P2. If he had been able to use it, he would have easily gotten around Kirkwood and won the race. But based on what Grosjean said after the race, they couldn’t stay out one more lap when they made their last pit stop, that he felt they made the right call to come in when they did.
