Blue to be fair, most 2000s teams only had one superstar to carry them to the playoffs year to year. The heat with dwade and the mavs with mvp dirk in 06 for instance. Most weren’t lucky enough nor had the support to win like Tmac on the magic or Kobe on the lakers and that’s just how it was.

No superstar, past, present or future, has or will ever have to endure the media scrutiny or overwhelmingly impossible expectations that LeBron has gone through. Dude has been literally killing himself on the court to succeed since he was 16 years old in HIGH SCHOOL. He’s never had a HOF coach (The closest would be Erik Spoelstra), unlike MJ, Magic, Kareem, Bird, Wilt, Shaq, Kobe, Duncan, etc., who were fortunate enough to have great/HOF coaches for the majority of their careers. In terms of him having a great, high powered executive/GM, Pat Riley was that but Miami wasn’t his team; it was DWade’s team until he took a backseat to let LeBron shine during their Big 3 run but it was short. If you want to compare his teammates and his “help”, LeBron doesn’t compare to the other legends I mentioned. In reality, he’s played with less than a dozen great players in THEIR PRIME and there’s really only one definite HOFer in DWade, with Bosh being a borderline/not first ballot HOF and Kyrie & Love are still debatable but unproven. And the whole 3-6 argument is not valid. Rings aren’t the end all be all. Nor should they. There are so many other variables and factors that you can look at when debating the greats but it’s all subjective. But this mentality that LeBron isn’t a winner or that he isn’t clutch or he’s not a killer is bullshit. He is an all time great player, one of the greatest ever and the GOAT in my book. Enjoy watching him while you still can because he’s not going to be playing for much longer. You don’t have to like him but respect his greatness because once he’s gone, it’s another end of an era.

That's the difference between GSW and CC - Warriors build around Curry and gave him every opportunity to grow, taking care of missing pieces, drafting talents and being patient. Good relationship. On the other hand, Cavs got a talent so bright, it happens once or twice in a generation, but instead of helping him they've decided to put all responsibility on LeBron. And he's done a pretty amazing job, holding the King's responsibilities on his own back with no support from the others. And then got bashed for leaving? Dang. Bad relationship.

More importantly imagine being a Cavs fan in the 80's and 90's and waking up every morning thinking "why does Michael Jordan keep doing this to us?"

lol, MJ and the Cavs had some personal vendettas. MJ got his career-high on them, stopped them in the playoffs 5 fucking times, and then of course "the shot"

Young LeBron literally just needed any kind of secondary talent behind him and he would have had 6-7 rings. He literally carried a g-league team to the finals.

when I was growing up and seeing this all unfold, I still to this day never seen such a toxic community like the Cleveland Cavs and their fans send so much hate to one specific player over a trade. Really baffles me

@julianowilliams32633 жыл бұрын
as a TRUE lifelong Miami Heat fan you have no idea how elated I was after the decision. Everyone around me hated it! Sure, with all the bandwagoning going around, but they wouldn’t dare say anything to me. Best 4 years of my life as a sports fan. I still cringe at the thought of the 2011 finals seeing as Wade was at his peak and they had it in the bag. But all in all I’m grateful for every moment. Thanks Lebron 🙌🏼
