I'm waiting for the tactical battery, a good friend of mine has this one and while it's a great battery, those latches have been problematic for him. Do you plan on reviewing the Tactical one at some point?

i am running my house off one of these right now with 4 batteries. not gonna run a central ac but i’m running an efficient Midea window ac right now. And I run efficient appliances such as small washing machines. I have to “feed” my Flex system with another battery hooked to solar since I can’t get the super charger.

Happy with my Jackery. Granted it's not expandable and housed in plastic, it serves its purpose with me. Question, with that being made from metal, during summer hotter months, does that case retain heat more?

Jackery makes a decent battery, however construction wise, is completely different ball game than the Flex 1500. Flex 1500 is seriously the most durable battery I've ever tested. In terms of hot weather, the fans on this I don't see coming on any more than other batteries I've tested turning similar conditions.

Would you recommend this in a van build?

I've been testing their Tactical Power Station and would HIGHLY recommend it over the original. Don't get me wrong, the original Flex 1500 is awesome, but the Tactical just knocks it out of the park. I have a video coming out soon on it-stay tuned, friend! Regarding the van build, the beauty of the Tactical Power Station is its versatility. You can use it in your van, and when it's not in use there, it can be used in your house, at camp, for emergency power, and much more. Hope this helps!

Thank you for your review. I have a Flex system w/ 2 batteries powering misc items in my sprinter. I mainly use it for a dual ICECO fridge and it’s been a great addition. The latches are a big con and I will be looking at purchasing the tactical version for the van in the future and leaving the old version in the house for outage emergencies.

Great review. I have a question for you. I contacted Inergy this morning regarding their Flex Tactical and asked them if I could use multiple chargers simultaneously to reduce charging time, their answer was NO. Were you able to charge your system by combining Solar and AC, or multiple AC Chargers?

Ordered this in 2021. It took about 18 months or so for us to even get the generator. Then they promised they would send an additional item to make up for the delay (a crock pot). We never received it. Then we bought extra batteries. We've used the generator (inside the house) a handful of times. It is now dead about 2.5 or so years later. Of course, it's out of warranty! Garbage! They have terrible reviews on the BBB site, BTW.
