In my opinion this thing is overpriced. You can get a Bluetti AC200P for $1699.00 with a 2000wh battery and a 2000 watt inverter with a 4800 watt surge, and lifepo4 batteries with over 3500 cycles to 80% capacity and the batteries for this thing are $850 a piece let's say you buy two batteries that's $1700 right there, with $1700 you can buy yourself another Bluetti and have 4000wh of capacity with two Bluetti's the only advantage that this thing might have is that you can take it apart and it's lighter weight so there are tradeoffs to everything 😉

Most people, like myself, that live in hurricane county, in the Deep South, NEED AIR CONDITIONING, almost year round. We need a MIX of Inergy and a dual fuel generator for comfort and survival. The dual fuel can help charge the inergy as well as run a window AC or two along with the refrigerator/freezer, depending on the size of each appliance and the generator. Some Gen sets can also run on natural gas , which is highly reliable in my area. I have NEVER had an outage of natural gas, unlike the recent Texas debacle. When the sun isn’t shining, you can charge your inergy with your generator. You would do better to have both.

@@sherrymacaroni5916 Unfortunately there are a lot of variables to be real concise, but I'll touch on a couple to help give you an idea. So much depends on what you want to accomplish which is a good thing I think. The most popular panel size is 100w. Considering you get on average about 5 good sun generating hours, you'll probably want at least two panels so you can get to 1000w and thus fill your battery in a single day. You can go with more or less, just know you'll be getting double or half of that. The standard wall charger is 100w and should charge the battery in about 11-12 hours. It will charge at 100w per hour until it gets near full and will kinda trickle in real slow from there. They do sell a fast charger for $80 that is 225w with the same principle of getting all 225w until it slowly puts the last bit in. You can even use the standard charger and fast charger at the same time. It will not be a sum of the two (225w+100w) but it will be faster than the quick charger by itself.

Yes, it will power a window air conditioner. How long depends on how many batteries and/or if you are doing pass through charging with solar panels; but does work. Not sure about the induction stove top. That depends on whether it is under the 1500 watts max for this inverter. I have a Duxtop induction one burner cooktop and it worked fine with an older version Inergy powerbank. The upper end Duxtop cooktop (about $115) has wattage levels from 1 to 10. @@ez4009 im having second doubts about this company. Actually I've had second doubts 7months ago lol now I just threw up my hands and said screw it. Either I will receive it or shtf will happen and I won't have it. Im still struggling with the idea of asking for a refund because I only ordered 1 extra battery and im wondering how long I would have to wait if I decided to order another 1 or 2. I spoke to Zack 1 ½ month ago and he told me that they have shipping dates planned and I would receive the list later on in the day or later that week and here we are month and ½ later and still nothing. So I just don't know what to say or do. I've already committed this long and im at the point to where I want to give up on them but also I don't because I got 10months in already and feel like it should be coming soon lol. Pls keep us updated for all we know this whole thing could either be a crappy situation and we are working with a company that has all the best intentions or it could just be a scam.

@@carlyoung123 I feel the same way, I only wish that they would give us more reassurance. Like you mentioned is this just a scam or what, are we ever going to get our product. I have had a power outage twice this year; the longest has been only 3hours it would have been nice to see how it would have handled it. I had to resort to a power inverter to supply my minimum power for the refrigerator and internet. I hope it turns out for the best soon. Thanks for your input.

Thank you for this content one of the better prepping channels. Is it just me or don't it seem like the ones calling prepping crazy are the same people who all of a sudden start calling today. They know I left the city moved took up farming and raising live stock out on 100 acres in Santa Cruz mountains 4 years ago. I changed the number🤣

I have a 500 gallon propane tank running a whole house jenny. I can run everything on my property for a long long time. I can run it only when I need it say once a week. Take a shower, fill water tanks, cook multiple meals, charge everything I have then shut it off. I can easily go a year if not longer. Is it portable? No. Will the propane run out sooner or later? Yes. But it will give me some time.

Florida does it take a window Air-conditioning.. that's what we're down to every time the grid goes down here from hurricaine with a gas generator
@mycabana40203 жыл бұрын
If your window air conditioner is under 1500 watts (max for this inverter) it will work. Most window ac’s are under that limit. How long it will run depends on the number of batteries you have and / or whether you are doing pass through charging with solar panels. For example: If your ac is 600 watts it will run for about 1.5 to 1.75 hours (battery on unit is 1069 watts). So each added battery increases that time incrementally. If you have only one battery, but hook up to 400 watts of solar panels (4 panels each 100watts). You would probably double the time the ac could run ... so instead of 1.5 to 1.75 hours; you’d get 3 to 3.5 hours. I have an window ac with low and high settings...so can conserve energy by cooling the room on high and then reducing to low (only 300 watts usage...so doubled time) or to the fan mode (only 25watts). Then can increase to high again if needed. My older Inergy powerbank can get me through the heat of the day by adjusting between fan, low and high...rather than just keeping at high. Basically, it depends on the wattage being drawn by your specific window ac. Check the back of the unit to see the number of watts it uses.

It took us about 18 months or so. Used it a handful of times. It's already dead. Never got the crock pot they promised free for the delay either.

Anyone have a recommendation for a generator that doesn't cost $1200+ just starting out and won't need anything large but thought even a small one to start for now
@CanadianPrepper3 жыл бұрын
You would have to look into gas generators or a smaller lithium solar generator like the zendure canadianpreparedness.com/collections/portable-power/products/zendure-superbase-600-watt-solar-generator
@amfearliathmor97473 жыл бұрын
The SUPA Sp 300 LiFePo4 portable Solar Generator. I had two of them delivered today. £300 each. I prefer the LiFePo4 battery technology despite the less capacity weight performance over Lithium Ion/polymer. Having multiple smaller Solar Generators gets around the 'cabling' problems if using a larger 1000+W inverter in a multi room environments. Having 60W USB C PD is very handy for use with a precision regulated programmable power cable to power 5,9,12,15 and 20 volt electronics from Routers, Radio transceivers, class T Stereo Amplifiers. Satellite HD televisions, LED lighting, Laptop computers etc.

The Bluetti eb70 is only $500 on Amazon right now and comes with a 700 watt inverter and 716 watt hour battery. Not bad for the price. There are KZbin videos that talk about it if want to know more about it. The screen is a bit annoying in that it doesn’t stay lit, but for the price, not a bad option, if trying to keep cost down.

I bought a Goal Zero Yeti 1250 around 5 or 6 years ago and I've found it to be relatively reliable for running my home office, and their customer service is amazing. The downside is I lose power so frequently (usually lasting 24-48 hours at least once a month) and it doesn't recharge fast enough, even with 4, 100W panels in direct sun, so I'm considering INergy for a backup while the Yeti is changing.

Ecoflow will lower the voltage but still run. Interesting
@CanadianPrepper3 жыл бұрын
That wont do any good for the devices you are trying to run. Its not a useful function. With this system you are able to run it up to 2000 watt output for several minutes and 1500 watts continously.

Unfortunately i live in Europe and Inergy doesn't have a EU version of this generator. However it's possible to make a DIY solution of this for a lower cost.

@MattPritchardOfficial3 жыл бұрын
That's for the battery and the Flex Power Station Module (the part with all the outlets) and the price is unchanged since last year. You can add on extra batteries for $850 each
@FallingAsh3 жыл бұрын
@@MattPritchardOfficial Thanks. It's just confusing because in CP's video it says it's $850 for preorder. Still seems reasonable price at $1350 if it performs as well as shown here
