Thank you so much for your video! I took it over to my Harbor Freight and went shopping. It saved me so much time and money! I am making my next shopping list for Harbor Freight.

A lot of these items are usable in quilting.

I love your channel!! I learned a trick from my grandmother 40 years ago to turn long, thin tubes of fabric. Sew tube right sides together. Using a wooden dowel, start at the closed end and push dowel into the tube, using hands, continue working the fabric down over the dowel. Before you know it, you’ve turned a 1/2” wide, 2 ft long tube right side out. When I was sewing nursery crib sets, I would turn 4ft tubes of fabric for the edging of bumper pads. The dowel trick was a life saver.

My household staple gun--I told my dad (I was on my own but nearby) we needed a staplegun to share. I had a million uses for it and once he thought about it he did, too. We traded it back and forth as needed until dad wouldn't be needed again. I think of him every time I use the thing. Must be 40 yrs old! I highly recommend owning one of your own.

I need one for myself (Judy). Steve has one. Maybe he wouldn't notice if it disappeared from his tool area.

My All Time Favorite find at Harbor Freight is their magnifying goggles that can be flipped up or down, have battery powered lights, and increased flip down magnification, including an almost jewelers loupe…. As I’ve aged I’ve found that these magnifying goggles are a game changer from sewing and jewelry crafting to even reading the fine print on coupons… also they are one of my favorite gifts for seniors aging just like me! HF has them often for about $5.99, and sometimes offers them with a coupon…. I like having them at each of my craft stations, AND one in my car, just so I can immediately have them just in case…

I will have to look for the magnifying goggles. Thanks for the idea.

Another great tool at Harbor freight is a laser level for sewing. It can be mounted on every machine and adjusted for your seam widths. Great again for those with mature eyesight that can't see them tiny lines any more

The canvas cloths are also great for making aprons.

My favorite Harbor Freight find is their basic wooden workbench. I’ve had mine awhile now, so I don’t remember exactly how much I paid. It has 4 drawers and a shelf on the bottom. It’s a great basic workbench I make jewelry and do sculpture. I have a jewelers bench but I also use my HF workbench for all sorts of projects, both art and home repair stuff.

Thanks for the tip! When we moved I couldn't bring my giant sewing table with me. I've been sewing the last few months at a desk and it is killing my back due to the height. I think I'll look into a work table that has adjustable height. Thank you so much for commenting and showing me another option.

I use my square sooo much in my sewing and crafting. I have a clear plastic triangle ruler that I cannot function without.

I have several favorites myself. I hang them on a hook on a pegboard in my craft room.

My favorite Harbor Freight purchase is my electric staple gun. Has held up great for over a decade. Paid $13.99 when cheapest elsewhere was $45.

Always keep note of when your hardware stores do their department resets. I have picked up the painter's canvases for as low as $2 for an 8' x 10' foot canvas.

Yardsticks warp. Metal rulers don't.

Yes, I love to keep a metal yardstick. I use it for much more than measuring something. Even to reach a light switch behind a cabinet. Ha.

Great video! Anytime a craft tool is called new or improved I check the hardware store, and see if there is something similar. We have a new harbor freight where I live and I have found a few things. I will have to check out your other videos, thanks for sharing!

The brown paper rolls you were calling craft paper is called masking paper. Professional painters put it on a gun type tool and use it to mask off trim work in a house. it needs to be thin so it is flexible to wrap around corners. A good painter can mask off a house in a really short time with the masking gun. I had a small interior painting business and also worked at Sherwin Williams for a few years.

Thanks for letting me know what that paper is called. I appreciate the comment.

I just found your KZbin channel, and I subscribed. I love shopping at Harbor Freight. I make mostly jewelry, and I've already purchased many things at Harbor Freight for different crafts as well. Thank you for sharing this info on your channel. I look forward to watching more of your videos. Oh yeah, the tarps you showed in one of your videos; they are "camo" not "cameo" 😁. Camo is short for "camouflage". I'm not trying to be a smarty-pants, 💁 just sayin' 😸. Have a blessed day 🤗.
