Your English is absolutely great! Are you staying in America, not n Korea? In South Africa we have many, many Chinese, shops restaurants & also their sauces & stuff are freely available! Hope our shops & veg markets, will stock more Korean stuff as well! Maybe in the cities, they have, but in a smaller town like where I stay, not so much!

I am definitely going to try this method of making bulgogi. Looks so good! What did I learn today? Koreans eat lettuce wraps with dignity by making them single bite sized. Saves one the task of licking sauce off one’s elbows.

@@ModernPepper My pleasure. Your recipes and instructions are really good and clear and easy to follow, so supporting your online business is a way to say thanks. My latest venture was miyeok-guk because I was craving seaweed. I looked for a video to see if you have a special recipe for that but alas, not yet. Seaweed is traditional food at home (Alaska) and I was craving it.

Hi Helen Thanks for this recipe! Are there any substitutes if you don’t have Mirin? Wondering if shaoxing rice wine would be ok?
@ModernPepper2 жыл бұрын
If u don’t have mirin, use a splash of any fry wine. If not, skip it. I never used Shaocibv rice wine so I don’t know. You can buy Korean rice wine/mirin online if u can’t get to a Korean market. amzn.to/3Se0cL8 All the product links are in the description box of this video
