I enjoy seeing what he eats. Couldn't get past the beef tongue though. It seems like he eats a ton with all those bowls in front of him. But my guess is that each bowl is a small portion except for maybe the rice.
@lagbait30762 жыл бұрын
@@susansprouse1023 I've heard tales of beef tongue, like it can be very chewy if not done properly but the one on his other channel didn't seem to be that way. I'd try it, not sure if I would like it. An yeah, the portion sizes seem more appropriate for sampling.

I remember when buckwheat pillows were hot in the US. I bought one, but it was like sleeping on cereal. I love watching your ferry videos. "I'm going to let my tummy re......oooh snacks." LOL
@marleenhoncoop41883 жыл бұрын
@Gerry S.S I have one for years now. And it does support the neck very wel, because you can shape it to fit the space. Once you lie on it it becomes ferm. It regulates the temperature very well. I take it every where I go and stay overnight. It’s a bit have while traveling, that’s the only down site.
@birdgirl83903 жыл бұрын
@Gerry S.S hm maybe if you don't move in your sleep. I move a lot before falling asleep and during my sleep so I'm better off with a memory foam pillow. Mine is also large and heavy enough to stay where it is. I'm also notorious for throwing my stuff out of the bed during my sleep 😆

sleeping on cereal... yep.
@Komainu9593 жыл бұрын
@Gerry S.S The thing with buckwheat pillows is that a lot of it comes down to the pillow case. People who say it's too firm probably have a pillow case that is too tight or it's still too new. You can take it out of the case it comes with and put it into a regular pillow case and then depending on how you wrap it make it firmer or more lose.

I'm in the U.S. and homebound because I'm caring for an elderly relative 24/7/365. I can't tell you how much it means to watch your ferry videos. Some day-when I'm free to travel-I'll try a number of them. They look so much more relaxing than a cruise ship. Much better than Disneyland on the water.
@sunnyscott48763 жыл бұрын
Yes you are absolutely right. Cruise ships have gotten ridiculous. Who wants to ride Go-Karts and go on water slide rides in the middle of the ocean with 5000 of your new best friends. I would love to be able to take one of these overnight ferry trips. ⛴

I've watched more than a few of these and I've concluded a few things: 1. They're very relaxing 2. I would dehydrate in Japan as I don't like/drink green tea 3. These ferries are either very under-used or you're great at filming around people 4. Vending machines rule in Japan's transportation systems Thanks for these videos.
@Komainu9593 жыл бұрын
You should give the green tea in Japan a try or perhaps the flavored ones at least. Kirin makes a Lemon green tea and that thing is amazing and I also am not crazy for "regular" green tea. I was also wondering about the crowds or lack thereof. I wonder if it's just because of covid. Vending machines also rule everywhere in Japan lol.

I always enjoy watching your car ferry videos while imagining me traveling on the same ferries in the Mediterranean in 5 to 10 years time, maybe between Venice and Patras, or between Heraklion and Piraeus, enjoying chicken gyros and beer on the deck and tasty Greek cuisine at the cafeteria, as these ships will inevitably pass on to Mediterranean ownerships when they retire. I did travel on one of Lilac’s ‘senior sister’s ship in the aforementioned routes in the past 10 years and thoroughly enjoyed the journeys. Maybe Mr Solo Traveler you should do a few videos in future on how these ex- Japanese ferries go out there. All the best.

Commenting for the algo. Your showing us all the wonderful things you eat has raised my cooking to a new level of silliness lol. I have never been to Japan, but one of my sons has, and another one watches a lot of anime, so he hears about some of the food there. Well, for my oldest son's birthday I tried making Japanese curry, and he said it was pretty close to the curries he's had out there. Then tonight I made udon noodles with beef consomme soup with tofu and cuttings from my pet celery plant, and my second son wanted some too. I look forward to seeing your new videos, and thank you for the food lessons.
