This is the incredibly unusual story of Johann Otto Hoch, who ended up marrying over 50 women, only to kill them or have them disappear, while stealing all of their money. Johann was the prolific serial killer of the 1890's in Chicago area.
If you have any suggestions for any crime locations, infamous crimes or infamous people you want me to cover, (mostly around WA state as that is where I live but any state is fine) send me a message on facebook or instagram @ infamous crime locations.
Thank you for checking out my channel. If you enjoy crime related content and especially seeing me go to where these crimes happen, definitely subscribe and hit the bell to get notified of every new video. And as always, my name is Harmin and thank you for watching.

Omg-- John must have been a stud muffin!! The guy just had women falling at his feet (in more ways than one)!! he probably poisoned most of these women, if not all of them after he married them. And so many of the women disappeared? So John was very strong and knew how to get red his murdered victims.. this is a unbelievable story and even though it is horrific in nature, it is so ridiculous that there is some humor to it because it was so long ago. Anyway, the guy was put to death finally. It sounds like John could have murdered on and on for the rest of his life so he was a serial killer on course. And a lazy thief as well. Those poor women who thought they had finally found love, but instead were heading for death! It seems only fitting. John doesn’t have a headstone out there in the park, doesn’t it?
